A franchise is defined as a commercial relationship that has the following elements.
trademark/name
payment of fee
control or assistance. (three pillars).
This follows the "duck rule" if it walks like a duck quacks like a duck it is a duck.
In Cynthia Besson's case her "licensor" program is actually a franchise.
so just for fun we hired a franchise attorney to make sure this company is investigated at the state and federal level.
With focus on California and New york.

Since we are unable to take things off the internet because of the freedom of speech act, the only thing I CAN do to defend my honor is to show you what kind of person Emile Bouari (who wrote this) is. As adults, we would like to believe that people don't believe everything they read in tabloids or on the internet, but that's not always true! So I have spent some time gathering evidence regarding what kind of person would slander someones PERFECT reputation of 30 years in the weight loss and wellness industry for no good reason. First off let me tell you that this man has slandered about 15 other peoples reputation including myself, (good, hard working, career oriented people like M.D's and PHD's on the internet and is now FINALLY being tried in a court of law for it. He will be asked to take the stand on June 6th in front of a courtroom to face a judge regarding the defimation and slander of all of us. I will post that decison after the conclusion. In the meantime....here is a novel worth of information to support my statements. The REASON he has done this to all of us is that he is going through a divorce and losing his weight loss franchise. He doesn't want competition (which is what I am to him) because he is re-opening under a new name NXT REVENUE www.wlc.justbecause.info
EVERYONE who sided with his wife or that he felt threatened by he decided to punish, by making us afraid to speak out for fear he would write bad things about us on the internet. (And that he did!) He will be handled in a court of law and hopefully all of us that have been WEB-ABUSED, will finally find some retribution.

11.) In addition, they push for some supplements that are not even proven to be helpful. There is not a single health care professional in their offices ...only some young girls with no medical background. Interestingly their recipe for weight loss cures everyone...men, women, young, old, sick, healthy....!!! if you want real care please go to a real physician that knows what he's doing and can individualize your care. Stay away from this company!
13.) This company is a fraud! They have a center in Las Vegas where Carol Chaney and Emile Bouari are based. The center was closed by the Health Department due to fraud. Carol Chaney calls herself a doctor but she is not, she is a nutritionist (not even a dietician). They are extremely greedy...the HCG costs about $40-50 but they sell it for $500-600 including a diet plan that they copied from Dr. Simeone! They didn't even take the time to come up with a diet plan of their own!

16.) The Bouari Clinics are owned and operated by "dr" Carol Ann Chaney and her husband Emile Boauri. They have ripped off the 1956 work of Dr. Simeons and claim it as their own work and protocol taking handsome amounts of money for franchises that give back absolutely nothing to the purchasers of the franchise.
17.) Ms. Chaney calls herself a "doctor"yet I cannot find anywhere online or any other source for that matter where she was trained and supposedly got a Ph.D. I called her Las Vegas clinics and no one there could tell me where she got her training.

The moral reponsibility of a person claiming to be a Ph.D. would not be a person who STEALS someone else's work (in this case from Dr. Simeons in 1956) and then take credit for it herself and sell outlandishly high-priced franchises that give the buyer only the name "Bouari" in return for their investment which is Chaney's husband's name.Emile Bouari has NO MEDICAL TRAINING yet gives medical advice freely to patients and potential franchisee buyers!
19.) The clinics are run by incompetent, non professional, techs with little or non-medical trained staff and there is not even a Medica Doctor present or Physician's Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to do exams!
Injections which are supposed to STERILE are prepared in no-OSHA regulated facilities and the workspaces where the injections are drawn up are very fair from sterile environments!
20.) I could go on and on but I believe you get the point. If you are a potential patient, DON'T WASTE hundreds of your hard earned dollars on something you can easily do at home. You can even get an Rx and help with hCG from your family doctor on a routine visit.
21.) If you are a potential Franchise Buyer...BEWARE!!! Chaney and Boauri will ROB YOU BLIND and then LEAVE YOU TO FEND FOR YOURSELF GIVING YOU NO SUPPORT ONCE THEY GRAB YOUR HARD EARNED CASH! In my opinion Carol Ann Chaney and Emile Bouari are CON ARTISTS and should be AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS!
