As of September 2008, Electronics Arts has marketed their NHL video game franchise as being the ultimate, realistic online gaming experience.  The online gaming experience allows for friends to converge and create teams together.  While playing together online, teammates are supposed to be able to communicate with each other using a PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 supported microphone.

Since 2008, NHL09, NHL10 and NOW NHL11 have all experienced terrible microphone problems.  For example, audio is sometimes choppy, dropped, muffled or disconnected completely from the outset.  All other online games, for example, Activision's Call of Duty Franchise, have near flawless microphone communication for as many as 20 players at once.  NHL teams are only a max of 6 players.
Each year, thousands of disgusted customers email, call and write letters to the customer support division of EASports. Unfortunately, despite all of the customer rage, the incompetent scumbags at EASports have continued to ignore the problem and have blamed the issue on Sony or Xbox.  This microphone issue is EAsPORTS' issue.... no one elses.  These fat cat aholes make millions of dollars a week on these video games, yet they refuse to address the concerns of their customers and the design flaws in their products.  I encourage all owners of NHL09, 10 and 11 to blog, post and blast EASports for their digraceful product.  They should be ashamed.

How many times do we have to call? Three years of development... yet they fail... and refuse to address this issue? All owners of this game should be refunded at least 50 percent of the purchase price, as 50% of the gaming experience is flawed.  The advertising is deceitful and the customer support is condescending.

This is the third year in a row that EA has ignored their customers.  Unfortunately, there is no competitor, as TakeTwo has retired their NHL2K franchise for the Playstation and xbox.

Join us all in thrashing this disgrace of a software developer.  I'm sick of being sodomized by EASports.
