Eastern Eye Associates Optometrists Mark Meadows, O.D. Overcomplicating issues - waste of time Hayes Virginia

I have worn contacts lenses for over 18 years. Mark Meadows wouldn't give me my prescription after I had to cancel my follow up appointment. I told him the lenses fit and feel fine and explained I was very busy at work and expecting a child very soon. As I mentioned, I am not a new contact user. It was never mentioned to me the follow up appointment was mandatory in order to get my contact lens prescription. Furthermore, an optician at the practice took my pupil distance. Mark will not release that information. He stated he is not "required" to do so. However, his office would gladly order me any glasses they carry with the pupil distance they measured. I explained I wanted to order a brand he doesn't carry, Oliver Peoples. I am ordering from a dealer in New York that was highly recommended by a friend. Mark still would not give me my pupil distance. This whole debacle was like a parody of errors. I chose this optometrist because their office was closer to my work and it would save time. I am going to my ophthalmologist in the morning and he ensured me he will give me my contact prescription and my pupil distance measurements then, as he would have done if I had gone to him in the first place. I would ask anyone considering this optometry practice to reconsider. They overcomplicate things my ophthalmologist makes easy! Nobody has got time for all this. Mark Meadows cites all of his good reviews on demandforce.com. My bet is he is not posting any of his bad reviews, as demandforce allows the subscriber to review their posts.
