I have been a moving helper for about 6 years for uhahl We have been averaging about 140 jobs a year which supports our families. First of all it cost me about 7500.00 last year alone to get jobs which people can rate our work. We provide our own trucks x 5 our own fuel, tools, shrink wrap ,tape labor time and more. Today they fire my company over a bold face lie and the will never answer their phone.I have a new baby due in two days and cant get work, I have completed over 600 jobs for uhaul.I am a sub contractor But there is nothing to support us workers.I have been through 6 trucks trying to make this work and they terminate me.I need a good lawyer to help me get my money back on loss jobs and equipment losses.

You were not an employee

Welcome to the world of business.
You were not an employee of UHaul, you were an independent contractor. For what ever reason they decided to no longer use your services.
The only thing that may give you some hope is if you had a written contract and by them no longer using your services they broke the contract. Then in doing so did they violate the terms. If you can prove they violated the contract you may be able to recover your damages. But if you can't prove it..or you don't have anything in writing. Well as they say..you are "Up a Creek without a Paddle".
Unless your family situation was in this contract..it doesn't matter if you are a single guy who is independently wealthy or have a household of 12 kids. That doesn't factor into it..
