I HEARD ABOUT THESE SCAMMERS THROUGH A CRAIGSLIST AD. The ad stated that a company was looking for housekeepers and you would be working in "EXCLUSIVE HOTELS AND OFFICES". The ad simply stated that if you are not serious about doing the work, then dont call the number that was listed which was a "HUMAN RESOURCES" number. The lady I spoke to asked if I had any experience doing housekeeping and if I was 18 or older. Then she proceeded to tell me that I needed to bring 2 forms of ID and $60 which she claimed was for "UNIFORM AND A BACKGROUND CHECK".

I DIDNT QUESTION THE $60 BUT THEN REALIZED YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR A BACKGROUND CHECK. So I went to the interview anyway and once I entered the building, it looked like an abandoned apartment building. I went to the 3rd floor and the building was very suspicious. ROOM 302 had 3 people who were already filling out applications. A lady at the front desk asked me who was I told to speak to and I said MS.GRAHAM then she told me to fill out an application. On the application stated 'Prime Consultant" which was odd, there was no real company name. Then, it was also stated that this was an employment agency. I continued to fill out the application anyway and the lady at the front desk asked for my ID which I gave to her. Then, someone was called into the room for an interview. Not even 3 minutes later, the same person came out and clearly told us that this was a scam because they asked her for $250. But this is the same agency who asked me for $60 over the phone. I later found out that we were all told different prices. Its clearly a ripoff because one of the guys in the room told everyone else that it seemed strange because this used to be the same building that had offered SECURITY GUARD SERVICE EMPLOYMENT which is also a ripoff. 

I RIPPED UP MY APPLICATION AND THEY DEFINITELY GAVE ME MY ID BACK. EVERYONE ELSE WALKED OUT AND DEMANDED THAT WE REPORT THEM. Whoever reads this, please avoid going to 90-50 Parsons Blvd for any type of employment. THEY ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY.
