Reginald E. Wood, Jr. and his wife, Angela Wood, own a synthethic turf company called Evergreen Lawn Solutions.  They are based in Apollo Beach, Florida, but work in other towns and states too.  Reggie will market himself as a friendly, helpful individual while he's performing work on your lawn.  He will ask for small amounts of "upfront" money to buy supplies and product.  He will pay back these first small amounts to build your trust.  Then he will ask for a large amount.  He asked us for $5,000 and even provided a "promisory note" indicating when and how he would pay us back.

Because he had established a pattern of paying back small amounts and we saw him regularly on our job, we loaned him the money.  He said it was for payroll to keep his staff working and that he would pay us back with interest as soon as a "big job" was completed.  He even showed us an invoice for the "big job."  Once he had our money, we never heard from him again except to yell at us for asking for our money back!

He said he couldn't pay us back because "the IRS" has frozen his accounts due to owing back taxes so he couldn't pay us back.  This was summer 2013.  We spoke with a lawyer and he gave us advise in December but we didn't retain him.

Now, we will be partnering with another woman he RIPPED OFF in the same manner, and hire an attorney together. Beware! He appears friendly and forthright!  He is actually a sociopath and believes rules don't apply to him!

Use your Common Since

Use common since... Why would I waste 3 years to con you out of $5-10 thousand dollars when I sell a product for an average of $15-60k per job the things that you are saying don’t add up. I still reside at 625 Mirabay Blvd since 2010 on the main street of the most exclusive community in Eastbay. Yes my wife drives a Mercedes and we take regular family trips and cruises.  If you think that I got all that from conning you of $10k you’re Crazy. It’s called hard work and good customer service.  I haven’t herd either of them say anything negative about the product that I sell. Just that Susan is trying to get something for nothing. And Dawn is crying over an investment that we both lost on because the client filed bankruptcy 3 years ago. Don’t let their shenanigans stop you from hiring the best artificial grass in the area to install your residential or commercial lawn Evergreen Lawn Solutions. FYI: feel free look at any of the court files they are dismissed as paid or settled except Dawn Blake and you will have to wait until I drop dead first... So stop wasting my time.

As you see Dawn Blake and her friend Susan Miller are people that are fine as long as they are getting what they want. As they both admit my company and I have done something to make them money. They have both received over $10-$15K in free artificial grass. As Susan Says “he was a nice guy" then when I charge the fee that is due to me for my services now he’s a con man.

My advice to Susan is to leave Dawn Blake/Grabowski alone before you do something that will hurt your business. You told me she was crazy when she had your loan now your buddies?  She has nothing to lose. After all her and her new husband are living off her late husband’s money, seems suspect that she married this guy soon after David passed away.  And what’s really foul she paid for the wedding with the insurance money from his death. So she must not be very concerned about her son’s education. Her and her new hubby blew through all of David’s money now she is reaching.

As Dawn has stated again Dawn has been investing with me for years as she admitted that I set up the loan for Susan Miller and The Village early learning center (Tudor Time).  Dawn has admitted that she has done previous investments with me and in the next breath she denies it. Make up your mind.

It’s funny that for years as long as Dawn was getting something from me thousands of dollars in investment revenue, I was her friend good enough to pick your kid from school while my friend was on his death bed. I was good enough to set her up with investment deals with customers that needed a payment plan.  You have admitted that these things are true. When we don’t make money on a deal now I’m a con man.  Who’s conning who?

Sounds like they both have been hanging out with Donald Sterling (owner of the Clippers) they have a slave mentality (do for me or ill f#&@ you over) as long as I’m making you money I’m a good boy…sorry I Don’t Think So!

Rebuttal towards Reginald Wood's Comments

AUTHOR: Dawn G - ()

POSTED: Monday, April 28, 2014

Once again Mr. Wood has taken the truth and twisted it so that it benefits him. Be advised that I, Dawn Blake, did not loan the Miller's any money. What occurred and I believe I commented on this in the first comments made in my own rip off report against Mr. Wood and his Business Evergreen Lawn Solutions, is that Mr. Wood borrowed $5,000 from me which was actually a personal loan. This is where he used the same tactics he used on the Millers by borrowing smaller amounts of money and then paying them back and then asking for larger sums after he got our trust. Mr. Wood instead of paying me the $5,000 himself, arranged to have the loan that the Millers' were paying him on a lawn installation paid to me and since they owed more than $5,000 to him he agreed to allow me to have the extra as compensation for the inconvenience of not getting paid back right away as he had originally promised.

The reason I know the Millers is due to this arrangement a few years back and after they paid off the loan that had been transferred to me by Reginald Wood I did not have contact with them until about 6 months ago because they found out my issue with Mr. Wood through internet information and wanted to see if I had any contact with Mr. Wood and knew of an accurate address because they were also owed money. I have already indicated in my own rip off report that I had had contact with two other people who had been taken by MR. Wood's con game so there is no attempt to keep any secrets except on Mr. Wood's Part. I felt that the other people I had contact with should decide on their own as to how they wanted to deal with things and the Millers decided to post their own report. I have the information regarding the loan Mr. Wood extended to the Miller's and the transfer of their loan to me to pay back the loan he owed me so maybe Mr. Wood would like to direct everyone to some links with some accurate and truthful information that can prove his end of things. He cannot direct anyone to any accurate links because the only accurate links show proof against him and reveal his lies.

Feel free to review my report on RIP OFF to get my story. It is similar to the Millers' and show a common tactic. If we can find a way to bring legal action to have him arrested for his scams we will definitely pursue it because other people need to be warned against this man and his false businesses and scams.

Dawn's friends

AUTHOR: WTFReally - ()

POSTED: Monday, April 28, 2014

First lets know who we are dealing with Susan and Joe Miller owners of The Village Early Learning Center, Shining Stars Learning Centers Inc. In Brandon, Florida. And are friends of Dawn Blake (who posted a previous RO report).

According to Hillsborough County Court records Case No. 10-CA-009458 the Millers of The Village Early Learning Center were being sued by its landlord for several thousands of dollars for non-payment and filed bankruptcy 0n 06-25-2012 to avoid paying. I believe that the bankruptcy court will find it interesting that they are claiming to invest $5000 with me while claiming that they are broke.

The reason that they feel  that I am friendly and helpful is because I installed a 3000sf playground artificial grass for only $15,000 back in 2009 and financed $5000 of it for one year.  That means we only charged $5.00 per square foot to try to help out a local business that was crying hardship.  Regular retail on a playground artificial grass surface is $10 per square foot $30,000.00. They mentioned that I failed to service their grass install in 2013 3 years after the install was completed. Our install warranty is 2 years and does not cover root damage from newly planted oak trees nor are we required to come back to remove the entire surface to cut roots and then reinstall the grass  for no charge. We spent 5 days working to fix the surface. They were informed at that time that they would have to remove the trees or the problem would return.  They have been taking advantage of our kindness. Yes they paid $5000.00 for labor in 2013 (meet my Payroll for the work that was done to repair their playground).  I explained that I needed to be paid because I had a large job that I needed to get my crew too and it could not work for free.  I also explained that I could not write the work off of my taxed because the IRS would still charge me and possibly fine me or freeze my accounts for lying.

Now they are upset because we won’t return to remove the surface and reinstall a second time, while they remove the trees for the same $5000.00 that they were charged for the last repair. They are very unrealistic. We are a business and it is impossible to work for free. I’m sure that they don’t provide child care for free.

Yes. We do work in many other cities and states as well as here in Tampa and have hundreds happy customers. And it’s funny that Dawn Blake who loaned the Millers $5000.00 has convinced them to file this ridiculous post. Susan Miller and Dawn Blake are drama queens and live in LaLa land. And I would be happy to see them in court and I will be happy to counter sue for slander based on this post.

Our average artificial grass installation is $15,000 to $60,000 we do many jobs for satisfied residential and commercial customers. If you are interested in a quality artificial grass install Evergreen Lawn Solutions never has complaints about the quality of work as the Millers and Mrs. Blake mentioned we are very helpful and good at customer service we must have been if we were still putting up with these people for 4 years.
