Experian.com Douglas Sash Credit Report Ripoff Internet, Internet
*Consumer Comment: Experian doesn't provide the annual credit report that is free
*Consumer Comment: For future reference.
Experian charged a dollar to receive personal credit information. Then charged my visa/ bank account 17.00 without my consent and would not refund the money.
I was unable to obtain yearly free report, forced to pay 1.00 for my personal information and scammed out of 17.00.

Experian doesn't provide the annual credit report that is free

I know it seems strange, but in order to get your annual credit report from the three credit reporting agencies you actually have to go to a special website that is: ANNUAL CREDIT REPORT DOT COM. Naturally leave out the spaces. You can't get the free report by going directly to the actual agency (eg Experian).
That website is the only location to get the free report. You can only get one free one from each of the three CRA's one time per year. All the other ads you see for free reports or free scores have a catch: they require you to sign up for monthly monitoring in order to get the report. This is what Experian does for sure. You will want to make sure you are canceled out of the service for Experian because they will keep charging your credit card until you officially cancel. Yes, I think its a scam too. Good luck.
