The individual responded to my email very sarcastically and rudely. He insulted me for asking a simple quetion. The reposts have shown that he has taken too long to do his job and some have stated he has taken their money and product and people have never received either back. I WOULD NOT advise anyone to use the services this gentleman offers. However, if you would like to annoy him and send him rude email, feel free. service@fastfixology.com is the email that this gentleman Blake Paulson uses. and what kind of name is that anyways! :)

As a small business owner when things go wrong it hurts because your entire life is wrapped up around your business. I think people who don't own a business, have ever operated a business, or been in a management position where they do all the work understand this.

There is a lot on the line with regards to operating a small business (in this case, being able to keep my home, support my family etc etc.)

I lost, and I mean I lost a lot of money on Chris' iPad. So while trying to fix an issue that happens from time to time on an iPad 2 (exposed power button ribbon cable that can easily rip during the removal of 9 million glass pieces), it was determined that Chris had a special model iPad 2 that takes a different kind of power button ribbon assembly. A part that normally costs $3 ended up costing me $39+ shipping from Canada (sent via first class) so it took a while to get.

The part that gets interesting is where a police officer then shows up for something that is a civil matter anyway, and wastes his time while I show him that yes, I have Chris' iPad, I show him the part that I'm waiting on, and explain the situation. Kind of a waste on so many levels... I'm assuming he played into the "but this is a school iPad so it's important" card which is why they came out.

Then after Chris gets his iPad back, he writes on his blog about how bad I am and that he wouldn't recommend me to anyone. So not only did I lose money on the repair of his iPad (remember, I only charged him $65 total which included shipping) he then bashes my website thus causing me to lose more business.

Then there is this ripoffreport...

I've had over 15,000 orders run through fastfixology.com. A lot of the problems I have are dealing with customers who need their hands held the entire step of the way. Unfortunately when I'm dealing with diagnosing devices that range from water damage to being run over, things can and do get backed up, especially when there's only one person trying to hold all that together. I wish I made enough to have employees, but I do not. I charge reasonable prices for the services and products I offer. I don't even charge anything but return shipping for diagnostic testing.

So to conclude, Chris got his iPad back after much fanfare and much personal loss to me. I hope he is happy that he has successfully contributed to the loss of an actual iTech (there are a lot of people out there that think they can watch a video and do what we do...)

It goes along with the age old saying of no good deed goes unpunished.
