Offer African Grey Parrots stating they hand raised them and are wanting to find homes for two 3 yr old african grey parrots, one male and one female that was said to be named abbie.  the site shows pictures of the birds and tells all about them and states lower cost due to just wanting to find a loving home for the two birds they can no longer care for properly.

I was asked to send the money for abbie via western union or through walmart and put to Penny Lawson.  After payment was received I was have abbie shipped to my address, would be flown by airline and then van would bring directly to my home.  Cargo airways international was then contacting me with what looked like offical site to first let me know that I needed to rent a shipping container for the bird and would receive my $600.00 back upon arrival if container was not damaged, again send the same way with western union or walmart, which I did.

Then they come back and ask to purchase insurance for bird, again stating most would be refunded, this was another 1300.00.  A official intenerary was sent showing the flight numbers and arrival time and assured all was taken care of. Even received phone call from a staff member of the fake shpping company telling us all was good and bird being sent. 

The morning the bird was to arrive, another email that again looked offical stating the bird needed a vaccination before airline would let bird be shipped for 535.00 which I did not send, then getting that this was a scam.  tried phone numbers listed for shipping company and no answer.  "andria dorris" no longer would answer emails either.

The whole time {four days} I was trying to get bird to our house, Andria seemed very concerned about bird being at airport and was "very worried" about the bird and seemed to really want to be helpful.   Do not buy into this!!!!
