On Febuary 19, 2016 First Progress had no problem debiting my checking account for the security deposit " before I was even approved for the account". However when it came time to mail me my card with said funds on it, a number of issues arose.

The address for my identity and my physical address are not the same, so I called First Progress on Febuary 23rd to report a change of address, so my card would be mailed to me instead of my identity address. I was told that I had to wait too "SEE" if I would be approved for a account before they could make any changes ,but they already had my money, Hmm..

Well on March 7th I was finally approved for the account I'd applied for, so I called them back on the 8th of March to update my address. I was told my card was being processed at that time and would be done and sent out within 3 buisness days from the 7th and that it would take 7-10 days after that for me to recieve the card.

So imagine my surprise when I called in them on the 22nd of March to check on the status of my card and was told the following.

First the card was apprently approved, created and mailed out all on the same day Oo... I've never known a company, espcially this kind to move so fast. That would be the 7th, the day before I called and was told my card was being processed and would be done within 3 days. The agent then tells me that because the first agent that changed my information didnt request a new card the original one was mailed to my identity address, instead of my home, and was therefore returned to the company on the 18th of March.

She then tells me that a new card had just been sent out on the 22nd and that I should get it in Another 7-10 mailing days. Now that leaves me waiting until April 4th ( cause we all know that these things come on the last possible day). At this point I'm thinking now they've had my money since Feb 19th, and I'm not getting any interest on this cash they are. So I told the agent that they need to be responsible and expidite me a card overnight, I was told they dont use that service, so I said then just cancell the account and return my funds I no longer feel comfortable doing buisness with you.

The agent then tells me it's going to take around 10 weeks for me to get a refund! When it took less than 24 hours for them to take my money in the first place. So naturally I went off, and was told I could get a refund within 3-5 buisness days which too me is no different than waiting the 7-10 mailing days.

So I'd advice you NOT to conduct buisness with this company, because honestly if I were to be as late with a payment as they are with getting me my card, I'd have been reported to the CB and charged late fees...
