First of all, I do not think that anonymous posts should be allowed.  I hope ROR reads this and provide some facts.  Why wouldn't the poster give some details.  I worked for F&B for a couple of years way back in the 1990's and admired Russell Brasso as a hardball lawyer, who took cases on a contingency basis that other firms would not.  He took mostly plaintiff cases and most of those were business litigation, antitrust, etc.  We were sometimes a little behind on our finances -- I hope Ron Forman does not object to me saying this but when there was not enough money at the end of the month the employees ALWAYS got paid first and the principals would reduce their checks.  There were never any ethics investigations or Bar Complaints and any clients who were dissatisfied were often given the benefit of the doubt, because these guys loved law and had plenty of cases.  These guys were "old school "lawyers who sometimes the opposing attorneys would settle cases solely because F&B were relentless and the for the insurance defense firms, billing by the hour, the profit was more important than the law or the justice.  I have no ax to grind but it appears that the "anonymous" posted does have and without providing any details, I have to question his allegations, because I did not see it.  It is too bad that more lawyers are not the old school style, because I think that with lawyers like F&B the highest priority was that the truth and justice came out in a case and personal profit was secondary.  Unlike the anonymous poster I have given my e-mail address so people can believe in the honesty of this post.
