i made an online purchase for tires for my car @ green diamond tire (would have been my second time buying)loved the product . i  received my first set with no issues a couple of years ago. so i  felt i had no reason to worry. but scam was when i placed the order the site said there was a waiting list for these tires because they were so in demand they could not keep up with the orders. not true. they have serious financial issues is what i found out so far. anyways they took my money and i got nothing    not a word. i have called and emailed several times but havent gotten a single response. i have also sent certified mail through the post office and it says address unknown/forwarded to another address but the address doesnt exist so i am screwed at this point but i dont intend to give up so easy. i am so po-ed !!!!! do not fall into the same scam as me    dont buy from green diamond tire  you wont get any tires but they will take your money. it cost me almost $ 400.00  not small potatoes these days   beware !!!!!

Blow out update

AUTHOR: Richard lieberstein - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, March 03, 2012

BUYER BEWARE!!! Although I was told by rich ( the owner of GD tire)not to worry about the cracks in the sidewalls, that they "were not structural" , I had a blow out and was forced to replace two of the four GD tires and waste much time. This would have been 3rd winter - lots of tread left. Gotta say I will never buy a tire on line again !!

Update

AUTHOR: Richard lieberstein - (United States of America)

POSTED: Sunday, September 04, 2011

The owner rich finally got back to me about my defective tires he assured me the cracks in the sidewall were not structural , but he would replace them as soon as his new factory came online in Colorado. He explained the factory in new York was no longer running , and that he was raising money to start up a new factory. I have no reason not to believe him. I'm glad he called back and explained things to me. As far as I'm concerned I Think the tires handle very well and aside from the warranty issue which I now feel is resolved I have no complaints about the company. I look forward to the new factory coming on line and will buy green diamond tires in the future.

I can't believe they're still taking internet orders!

AUTHOR: bubba - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, June 21, 2011

They've had my $800 since 2009 (Internet order).  They have not responded to my many calls and emails.  They also stonewalled the Better Business Bureau looking into my complaint.  Now GDT has an "F" rating from the Denver BBB.  Supposedly, GDT has received $$$ to restore operations at it's Elmyra NY factory.  I hope so, because I still need tires.

Honest Company

AUTHOR: Carla - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, May 19, 2011

As a consumer and a former business associate, I have dealt with Green Diamond Tire in the past.  While I do not have updated current company details, I can attest that the Owner/CEO is honest and honorable.   Deceptive practices by anyone associated with this company is 'not an option'.   Is it possible you may have sent your payment elsewhere, perhaps a knockoff?  If not, please look a little farther for a workable address, and contact information.  I know that once contact is made, your issues will be resolved.   Good luck to you, and please believe that intentional impropriety did not originate with this company.
