I received the following email:

Dear-Winner,
We wish to inform you that you have been-selected-among the lucky-winners of the U.S. Green Card in the (DV-Lottery-Program) for fiscal year (2011/12). Winners-were selected randomly-(via)-computer-draw-system of email extractions. We are sending the winning letters through the-selected email-addresses.
 
To receive-the green card, you need to apply and-obtain the U.S. immigrant-visa which is for permanent-residence in the U.S. The visa will permit you to travel to the U.S. to-receive the green-card.
 
Please complete form (DS-230) for yourself and each accompanying family member which will be used to process your application documents that will be used to file your immigrant visa petition at the (National Visa Center) to process your visa and schedule your visa interview appointment-at-the U.S. Embassy nearest to you for the issuance of your visa. You will use this form (DS-2001) to inform the-Embassy of your readiness to attend your interview when scheduled-(Download It)
 
The winner's files have been dispatched to our foreign-posts in the six geographical regions for the immigrant-visa issuance-application-guidelines and as indicated, your file was among those submitted at the U.S. immigration office in the Asia Pacific region located in Bangkok, Thailand.

This is a scam.  Go to website: http://fraudaid.com/ScamSpam/Lottery/green_card_scam/index.htm.  It says you will be notified by SURFACE MAIL only, not by an email.  Good luck.
