I would like to tell you what KW broker Alan Willimas allowed to happen, elderly abuse,Discrimination, Conspiracy to cover up non dis closer. Realtor's refused to sell my mothers condo,she is 77 years old in senior complex.. She is innocent Old fashioned Dutch lady.. She made one mistake. She respectably
asked the realtor Kate and Jason,before she bought there,are there hardwood floors in upper , how quiet are they. We stood in a carpeted unit at ocean Oaks and could hear everything during the day. So we knew then they were cheaply built.So we expected noise normal condo noise.My mother just sold her condo which was very noisey due to upper unit installing hardwood floors. So her main concern was that this HOA had rules and guiedlines if anyone were to want to install them. Kate assured us no HARDWOOD floors.She lied.

Now this realtor was the only one contracted by builder Gary Young to sell these brand new units ,in this Senior complex called Ocean Oaks 579 Camino Mercado unit 213.In Arroyo Grande CA... Two realtors Kate Carson Jason Blankenship,only to sell these units.http://www.centralcoastkw.com/

This realtor Kate Carson flat out lied to us.

Kate said after we asked her why did you not tell us. Buyer beware. She said maybe you can ask them to install runners. The  people in above unit, became very vindictive started to drop what sounded like a bowling ball on the floor aboveus ,early in the morning. Middle of the night awakened ,out of a sound sleep. She even had to sleep in the rec room once to get a nights rest.
The HOA said she was occupying the rec room and that was not allowed. She was so harassed by this HOA,they did not protect her as the builder Gary Young and one agent, were on the board. The other realtor told everyone not to talk to this
us as we were crazy. What bothered me the most was how they bullied my mom. Is this just plain greed, so no bad news would get out and hurt their sales. We wanted to buy them new flooring.

So established this much as these two will lie cheat and steal. Do not trsut iether nor anyone who works for KW in Pismo Beach.
buyer beware.. We needed to sell.. this is where the worst get's worse.

2009... They refused to sell our unit.. Yes refused.. Then she went to other brokers Century 21 home town in Arroyo grande when it was in Grover beach. Sheila Hardy wrote up our listing and a week later when we did not get any emails or see it up on line. We walked into her office to see listing tossed in garbage. I took a cell phone picture...and then all the other brokers Like Uli Torries of Sea Wave made up some lame excuses, also to not sell the unit..

We filed a complaint to ethics board of realtors in Pismo beach.. Cindy Doll said we would be protected.Please do not believe Cindy Doll. I have been working on this for 4 years and the lie after lie is a wonder why she is still working.

They claim protect the consumer..A Month later we had a date for ethics board against Keller and Williams refusing to sell this condo... We walked in and Keller and Williams had a lawyer..http://www.ogdenfricks.com/attorneys.html Roy Ogden, he took over the intire meeting with slander and fabracated lies. No proof of anything. They accused her of being in a mental ward.. fabricated she had HIV. A 77 year old woman who was married for 55 years had to endue this sort of humiliation..I tried to say something and between the timer of the meeting and the lawyer's non stop bashing, we were shot down at any attempt to talk or tell her side..Her side was never heard. They sent her a letter saying the results were, they feared her illness.. There for did not want to sell her condo. I cannot understand how this can go on..She moved back in with a friend. She had to pay the mortgage for 3 years when she did not even live in it. Cassandra Sasso retired lawyer leased it to buy. I listed it on Craigslist as we could not find a realtor or broker to work with us. We tried Blaire Properties but then the two agents Kate and Jason took down signs. HOA had to have a meeting due to signs. Kate steered people away from the unit claiming it was a moderate income unit and they would not want that. So this did not work.We were stressed from no sleep and wanted out. Miss Sasso turned out to be a friend of the HOA and the builder and Jason.She herassed us to know end. Broker her lease and left the place a mess and tried to sue us for $7.500. Court judge was not a small claims judge and he could nt take another minute of Miss Sasso rambling .We wanted to retire to a senior living and now were made into landlords..

How could they get away with this. realtors  blacklisted us. 2 1/2 years later we got a phone call, asking if we knew anyone who

Hometown Realty.

We were shocked.  Telemarketing phone call.So we said yes. I would like to do a short sale. A realtor came over . Nancy Lou Tucker and gave her a list of things to do. We did them.. Nancy was very nice liked her very much.. We disclosed the bad flooring and her problem we had.Nancy Tucker was shocked and said I will help you so you know that not all realtors are bad. She really was impressive young lady... this agent told us to stop making payments. We called her many times. No replies. One email she wrote I am busy with many more and please know it will take a year and we have time. No worries. 8 months later again I tried to let her know we were ready. Her co worker  Robert who Wrote. an e-mail stating Nancy Tucker could not work with her.

She had the right to pick and choose who she works with and did not think this would work.We ended up in default and HUD has already been contacted with KW now Century 21 did the same.  default now and trying to refinance. But this could have cost her a home. I cannot believe a town Like San Luis obispo where everyone knows each other that anyone would let someone get away with a crime like this. Not one agency would help my mom..Not one.. San Luis Obispo has to be held accountable.. and even the lawyers will not defend her.. I am hoping they do a good job in helping us see justice is served. It was an honor to have our president read the complaint and such a nice return letter.. I will be voting for him and so will my Dutch friend.. We want a man for president who will protect the elderly and make sure these agencies help.. Not just say they cannot do anything..What is this country coming to ? To accuse a 75 year old of being mentally unstable.. and HIV positive.. and win.. their case and not
even here our voice. President obama did.. I have hope now..I truly have hope.. due to Obama taking time to listen .HUD is working. Buyer beware. Please. This was h**l..

Readers of Mr. Burns comment might like to know how we became acquainted, and why he would be trying to malign me here (which I don't and haven't done to anyone, by the way).I only write the truth. If I could have written the SLO tribune or KSBY and had they taken my story I would not have had to use other web stes to tell my story. No one could make up a stroy like this/ I have the tape from Board Of realtors ethics board" Mark Burns most realtors have been contacted to blacklist me due to Roy Ogden a lawyer who helped KW , Mark Burns Kate Carson blatenly commit a hate crime and discrimnation. Maybe if you feel I have lied you might want to hire Roy Ogden again and take this to court. I tried for 5 years for you to read my online storys in hope you would reply and take me to court for slander. If this was not true why did you wait all this time? I have the proof and documents and wintteses who worked at KW at the time you did a smaer camapin against me.I have all the proof saved about Ocean oaks kate Carson's nondisclosures.. So now I thought I had KSBY to tell the story of what happend when I bought a condo at ocean Oaks from kate Carson.But little did I know kSBY is owned my couty supervisers who also are covering this up. Please email me or have your lawyer contact me if you beleive I am lying. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I moved to the condominium complex called " Five Seasons " in Grover Beach in 2010, after agents refused to sell my condominium at 576 Camino Mercado, Unit 213 in Arroyo Grande (a complex called "Ocean Oaks Senior Living "). I bought the one in Arroyo Grande in 2008 after I moved back to this area from Arizona. I needed to sell my condominium at Ocean Oaks because it was unlivable. The reason it was unlivable is the flooring in unit above it was severely faulty because the occupants had been given an OK to install hardwood flooring there. I had been told by the agent who sold me the unit (Kate Carson) that there would be no hardwood floors on second floor. That it was severely faulty was known to the builder and agent who sold me the condo before she sold it to me in 2008. That it was severely faulty was reported, hence verified, by the husband of Kate Carson, who at that time was a professional in installing hardwood floors. That it was severely faulty was also reported, hence verified, by an owner of Carpet World who told builder my unit was unlivable during a noise test we had on unit 213, for which there were two witnesses. The faulty flooring in my unit was one of at least two units with defects in that complex. also unit 419. Those defects led to the County attempting to cover this up. The agent's failure to disclose to me the fact that she and the builder knew the flooring was faulty was illegal. A second agent Tamara Burns said that the agent Kate broke the law by not disclosing the defective flooring until after I purchased it.

The second agent Tamara Burns represented to me that she would help me as she said she owed me a favor for having her sell my ex's over million dollar listing in Arroyo Grande. Then Tamara Burns quit as Mark Burns and Tamara had shares in Keller and Williams and knew they would have to disclose the faulty flooring to prospective buyers, which meant also acknowledging Kate Carson's nondisclosure to me and builder Gary Young's nondisclosure to me. A third agent (Blair properties) wanted to try to sell me 407 Bakeman lane in AG knowing I couldn't qualify for a loan. Nor afford to own without first selling the Ocean Oaks condo. Both Kate and Blair properties took good earnest checks from me of $5,000 without preapproval from any loan companies. Cashed them anyway. Unethical! The third agent Bruce Blair said I should pay him $5,000, which I did, not knowing at the time that the money would be entirely wasted. Never returned. I had had a compound leg fracture and 7 surgeries during this year. I was unable to walk. Since the unit was "unlivable," according to licensed professionals, and the agents knew it, they refused to represent me as selling agents. They apparently influenced every agent in the county to do the same. The agents mentioned above told large numbers of real estate professionals in this county (in meetings administered by the Board of Realtors, and elsewhere) that they wouldn't represent me because, they falsely said, I was mentally ill. The reason they said I was mentally ill is because I had formally complained about the verifiable and provable fact that they knew that the condo they sold me was unlivable before they sold it to me, and their licenses were at stake. They also told large numbers of real estate professionals in this county (also in above-referenced Board of Realtors' meetings) that they would not represent me because I had a contagious illness which true or not they could not possibly have contracted from me by listing and representing me (the defective condo they'd dumped on me).

The Board of Realtors sent me a letter saying, in writing, that they supported the agents' refusal to represent me because of the false accusation of mental illness, and because of an illness. I have the letter. The Board of Realtors then sent to all brokers in this county and to police departments tapes of recordings of the meetings they held for local real estate professionals in which they made these comments that have harmed and continue to harm me so much. This is also verifiable. What the agents and the Board of Realtors did is illegal. See [justice.gov/crt/about/hce/title8.php]. Either they didn't know the law, as they should, or they did know and chose to disregard it. There is so much more that happened after Kate Carson and this ethic's board meeting which was held Stepmber 10 2010. Which Lenny Jones was man of the year and "President of board of realtors. "Pismo Beach. He is now in jail for the rest of his life. Mark Burns is upset that all charges which was a total set up were dropped. There was zero evidence supporting any crime. I have come to expect perfidy, arrogance,unreliability and borderline criminal negligence with most of the businesses I deal with. However, I will -- as long as I am here and a member of the community -- refuse to ACCEPT it as normal and will criticize it loudly when I see it. I will also continue to heap praise, recognition and business on those businesses who do right by their customers -- there are some business who do so and they need to be singled out from the bad ones. Doing so might eventually make this a functioning city. My only question here is, what is our alternative?

Mark Burns Has forgotten there were witnesses

Mark Burns has clearley forgotten there were not just two wittneses who were there for noise test where a professtiona deened unit 213 unlivable. Anton Hoffman and Penni Lawndy were there to witness noise test. Penni Lawndry was also at the " Board Of realtors ethic sboard where Lenny Jones Mark Burns friend and President of the board of realtors has their hate crime. Lenny Jones is now in prsion for child molelsation. He use to me man of the year here in this county. This county rated number one in the nation for real esate farud and this is a knowen fact. Rodenhuis's made sure I was there for ethics board meeting which I recored and was given to HUD. HUD reopned this case June 4 2014. 

Julie Rodenhuis had all charges dropped and due to zero evidence they used a lesser charge of child abuse which is in apeal. Mark Burns sat through this court room stuff for what? He was told this would be exposed and he had plenty of time to hire a lawyer if Rodenhuis was slandering him. Why would anyone write such a horriffic story unless it was true. 

 

In our correspondence over the past four or so years, Julie would sometimes mention problems she was having with a real estate transaction. This was happening after a serious accident in which her leg was broken in three places and required seven surgeries to repair. Probably like most people, I was too busy to closely examine what she was trying to say. And the story got more complicated as the months went by. As I'm sure you've already noticed, she's highly intelligent. She also doesn't like the process of writing and isn't good at it. So I found her reports confusing. I didn't know what to think. I didn't want to jump to conclusions without getting the facts and getting them straight. It was tempting to turn away, but having encountered my own share of dishonest people in business, and knowing what a challenge it can be to clarify and set things right, my sense was that she deserved to be carefully listened to. So in recent months, visiting her in person, I was able to do that. And when you objectively look at the details of the sequence of events she experienced, you find that -- essentially -- it appears that because she and her mother repeatedly trusted several licensed real estate and building-construction professionals, they very lost, but shouldn't have, the title to a condominium they'd invested over $100,000 in. Those damages are apparently too small to enable any attorney to profitably take the case. So Julie fought back every way she could independently think of, in large part to protect her elderly mother. As I said above, she doesn't like to write, and her manner of communicating in writing damaged her credibility. But if you have time to sort through the facts, I think you'll find, as I did, that what she's saying is credible. It looks to me like she was in fact misrepresented, even swindled, and then publicly smeared both by people directly involved in the problem, and by their professional associates. It's also possible that, trying to figure it out on her own, she's made some tenuous or unlikely connections. But overall she is completely clear-headed and grounded, and she deserves to be heard.

Another smear has to do with her ex-life-partner, Patrick. As a public defender, you know that people use legal filings, like unlawful detainers, as offensive tools in civil disputes. Patrick filed an unlawful detainer against Julie (60 years old; never been involved in crime or violence of any kind) because she demanded that he return to her personal belongings that a judge had ordered him to return. I think she simply went to his house to get them, and the "unlawful detainer" was filed to prevent her from doing so, to embarrass her, and to disempower her. Last year, on June 26, Julie was accused of a crime. My understanding is she didn't know why many calls she'd made to the police about her neighbors, including that same day, had been ignored. It was a puzzle that led her to come up with possible explanations. In any event, she had been recovering from the loss of the condo, the broken leg and seven surgeries, the end of what had been like a marriage, a public smear campaign, and the murder of her exquisite dog. Before she moved there, and when she inquired about buying a condo at that complex, she asked the HOA about noise. She said she required quiet because she had been in a place that was so noisy it was declared "unlivable" by an unbiased inspector. To assure her the new place was quiet, and to encourage her to buy, she was given a copy of the HOA rules. Julie and her mother bought. If the rules were followed, the place would have been quiet. The rules were not followed. She asked the HOA for help. She was ignored. She asked the police for help. She was ignored. She was targeted as a "problem" for complaining (as people who stand up to agressors often are). Her dog was murdered, mafia-style, apparently to intimidate her. But she stood up to them. She reported child abuse to authorities to protect neighbor-children who were being abused. She was the only person of all the people who lived there with enough courage to extend to the police conversations neighbors had about what appeared to be drug-dealing. She got along fine with several of her neighbors. Others hated her. No doubt the kids of the ones who hated overheard their parents complain. All kinds of reasons. She complained when HOA rules weren't followed. She wanted kids who are naturally noisy to be quiet, and parents to tell the kids to play only in areas where it's allowed. All this, and she owned a poodle. Maybe we need a word for the unjustified negative attitude some people have toward poodles. No crimes. Just asserting her wish for quiet and compliance with rules. She had told me in email conversations about constant noise. I think she'd told me about calling the police for help and not getting any. What happened on June 26?

I'll tell you my understanding based on careful listening over the nine or so months. I hadn't heard from her for a few days at the end of June and wrote to her to find out why. She wrote back on July 1 I think it was and said about 16 kids had crowded outside her door and wouldn't let her pass when she needed to take Ruby (the dog she got to be a companion for Fibber before he was murdered) for Ruby's afternoon walk. (I can forward you the message she sent me if you like.) When she came back, the police "were on their way." When they got there, they went to the kids' unit/s. They told Julie to go inside. She told me she was glad they were finally there. She waited about an hour. When the police came to her unit, she expected to have an opportunity to tell them what had been going on on that day and why she had called them for help. Instead, she was arrested. She wasn't told why she was being arrested. Some of the kids who'd crowded around her door and their parents cheered when they saw her in handcuffs and in the police car. An ordinary law-abiding person. Complete non-criminal. She found out not from a police officer or other legal authority, but from someone who was in her jail cell, that TV news was reporting that Julie (no trial, no hearing) was already guilty of assault with a deadly weapon against a child. !. She was kept in prison for four days. Four days without medicines she needs for survival. Innocent of the accusation. Accusation not investigated by arresting officer. That's my understanding. She didn't abuse any children. She has withstood all this with amazing fortitude, steadiness, and forgiveness. She isn't vindictive and hasn't expressed any vengefulness that I'm aware of. She does, however, demand that she be treated fairly. That seems very reasonable to me.

I was in the ethics board meeting as a wittness for Julie Rodenhuis and her mother. My name is Penni Landry and Mark Burns seems to have forgotten Rodenhuis's had a wittness to ethics board and two wittness on noise test given by Gary Young. Anton Hoffman and I were there for noise test. Professtional said unit 213 was unlivable. There were Tamara Burns Mark's ex wife due to from what she told us beatings from Mark. Most of this county knows about Mark Burns and his temper and ego. There was also Jan Sanderland who wittnessed all at KW. I also made a tape of the ethics board which I gave to HUD and DFEH. 

 I met Julie in about 2004 when she rented a room in my home for about two weeks so she could attend the then-very-crowded Optimum Health Institute in Lemon Grove, California, which was walking-distance away. The Optimum Health Institute started in the 1970s to enable people to learn about and implement a diet of living foods (as much of it organic as possible) based on the work of a pioneering cancer-survivor by the name of Ann Wigmore. The basic theory of the place is that our bodies can heal automatically if toxins are removed and nutrition is provided. I believe Julie has prevailed over various health challenges by following that principle. Her knowledge of natural healing methods that work is extensive. She's been rigorous about avoiding chemicals and toxins since before I met her.

We've remained friends over the years. Julie's extremely artistic, and her enthusiastic encouragement that I stick with certain creative pursuits I've told her about helped me stay on course when I've been tempted to give up. She's kind-hearted, friendly, forgiving, and honorable. She has higher-than-average awareness of history and contemporary culture, and follows news of social injustices with genuine compassion and indignation where appropriate. She was a dedicated step-mother to more than one young child. And she's the most responsible and devoted animal caretaker I've ever known. I wish you could have met her dog Fibber before he was killed. She rescued him from an abusive and neglectful place in Montana. He was not a show dog. He had too many "imperfections." I think he was the runt of his litter. When Julie adopted him, he was matted and weak, having lived most of his life outside with other semi-neglected animals. His intelligence and spirit were humanlike. He made such a deep impression on me that I reacted to the news of his death as I would have for a fine human being. Julie's mother told me Julie has been rescuing animals since she was about nine years old. They adore her and she's one of those rare people who can understand what they need and feel. All this, and she owned a poodle. Maybe we need a word for the unjustified negative attitude some people have toward poodles. No crimes. Just asserting her wish for quiet and compliance with rules. She had told me in email conversations about constant noise. I think she'd told me about calling the police for help and not getting any. What happened on June 26? I'll tell you my understanding based on careful listening over the nine or so months. I hadn't heard from her for a few days at the end of June and wrote to her to find out why. She wrote back on July 1 I think it was and said about 16 kids had crowded outside her door and wouldn't let her pass when she needed to take Ruby (the dog she got to be a companion for Fibber before he was murdered) for Ruby's afternoon walk. (I can forward you the message she sent me if you like.) When she came back, the police "were on their way." When they got there, they went to the kids' unit/s. They told Julie to go inside. She told me she was glad they were finally there. She waited about an hour. When the police came to her unit, she expected to have an opportunity to tell them what had been going on on that day and why she had called them for help. Instead, she was arrested. She wasn't told why she was being arrested. Some of the kids who'd crowded around her door and their parents cheered when they saw her in handcuffs and in the police car. An ordinary law-abiding person. Complete non-criminal. She found out not from a police officer or other legal authority, but from someone who was in her jail cell, that TV news was reporting that Julie (no trial, no hearing) was already guilty of assault with a deadly weapon against a child. !.

She was kept in prison for four days. Four days without medicines she needs for survival. Innocent of the accusation. Accusation not investigated by arresting officer. That's my understanding. She didn't abuse any children. She has withstood all this with amazing fortitude, steadiness, and forgiveness. She isn't vindictive and hasn't expressed any vengefulness that I'm aware of. She does, however, demand that she be treated fairly. That seems very reasonable to me.

There is not a stich of truth to anything this crazy woman said about anyone in this report! She is a pernicious liar and today she was convicted of child abuse for spraying a 7 year old girl in the face with weed killer.

Here's how it went:

"You sprayed me so I'm going to spray you." That is what 60 year old Whilhelmena "Julie" Rodenhuis said to a 7 year old girl who had been playing with several other children in the apt complex community pool hours earlier. Then she sprayed the child in the face with weedkiller.

I sat in court during the entire trial this week. She was convicted today of one count of child abuse. And while that (spaying a 7 year old girl in the face with weedkiller) is certainly the most reprehensible act shes perpetrated to date, there are several more victims of this woman's pernicious vindictive behavior, including myself, my ex, my business partners and numerous peers and other citizens (many of us named in this libelous and totally false report).

She's had restraining orders from a few different parties for stalking including her ex and an entire home owners association for basically terrorizing the entire complex. She's filed false and malicious charges against several of us (and though she did not prevail many of us had to live through that hell). She continues to cyber-stalk many of us as is evidenced by this report and many other online attacks shes made against so many.


She creates online aliases and libels many of us in regard to our respective professions. In this day and age of the internet and social media there is no way to effectively defend yourself against these accusations as the blatantly false and vicious as they are. There is no way to determine the extent of that kind of damage. People dp online searchs for p[rofessionals and who knows how much these vicious lies of hers may have cost any of us.

She definitely needs help (though it is entirely possible she's beyond the point where it would do any good). More important than her however is society at large who deserves to be protected from people like her. She needs to be placed where she can no longer hurt anyone.
