 I purchaced a directtv receiver from this company, it lasted less than 2 months the item had a 1 year warranty according to the manuacters statement, this company refused to send me a new reciever free of charge and wanted to me to pay shipping to dend back the deffective unit and also wanted a money order for 21.60 to sned me a replacement receiver, this is a very bad company to deal wiith do not buy from this company

Customer Complant Regarding Warranty Replacement

In 17 years of assisting thousands of families and satellite dealers in our industry with satellite parts and accessories needs, we have never received such a negative remark regarding our products, service or goodwill to care for our customers.

The real difference is the customer used the equipment passed the return period and failed to explain the complete and full truth in his report. In fact, even though we made an exception and allowed the return as falsely stated; he refused to return the receiver because of the return shipping cost for a new replacement item. He also explained to us he was offered a different unit by his program supplier and they requested part of the item he purchased from us be sent to them, instead back to us.

 

Unlike IMPAKT, most companies will not take a return after 3 business days and most customers know this.

IMPAKT Satellite Products return policy is one of the best offered by distributors in our industry. “All returns for Warranty and Return; should anything be wrong with the item when purchased simply send it back within 3 business days of the delivery date and receive a full refund or free exchange and free return shipping. If after 3 days and up to the first 30 days you can receive a free over-the-counter exchange for the same item or one of equal value - customer is responsible for return shipping. If the customer wants to upgrade to a different unit shipping and handling fee also apply.  The warranty is voided and no refund will be issued should the item be returned with a broken warranty seal, missing items; other charges may be accessed if the equipment is not returned in its original condition”.

This exceeds a typical distributor warranty and is posted on our website. He wanted an extension to the warranty, free exchange and free return shipping after having the item well past the 30 day return policy, as outlined and accepted by him even before he purchased the item.

We regret we were not able to satisfy this customer beyond our standard policy and the extended service offered him. We will continue to provide the very best service possible, as we are well known to provide. Thank you for the opportunity to respond.
