Kixeye.com Vega conflict refusal to refund an accidental 200$ charge to my account by my 6 year old son internet California

The password I am reffering to is not to the website itself.  Lets make that perfectly clear.  It is to the function of purchasing virtual coins during in game play.  All you have to do is click on any numberous icons at your base for it to ask you to add coins.  Being that your credit card is saved automatically, if you click twice your card is charged, no questions asked.  It is the purchasing of coins process that i think should at least have the option of being password protected or have a parental control of some sort.  

A PS3 or any gaming device that stores credit card information has options for password protection.  I know this is a hard concept for you to understand. 

It is also my fault for thinking a million dollar company might actually care about the well being of its customers, or want repeat businuss or a positive word of mouth review.  Any business man would know this.  Just read the other 20 negative reviews against this company on here.  

I am sure everything was their  fault also.  Your comparisons still make no sense whatsoever.  It is impossible to argue with an idiot, so this conversation is over.  

If you accidently swiped your card twice at the grocery store, would you just tell them to keep your hard earned money, or mention there was a mistake and ask for a refund? Lets get real here.

- Let us use or "wayback" machine and remember what you originally posted. You stated..that they have NO Password protection on their site whatsoever.  Yet if they didn't have any Password Protection..why would you now say you just forgot to "log out"...ummm...

Anyways as to your question.  Yes I have forgotten to log out and yes I have had to suffer some consequences(at least they were minor).  But unlike you I don't go around trying to blame everyone else for my mistake.  Instead I correct the issue and move on.

- No..never said that.  Just pointing out that you have to be aware of what your kids are doing.  It is actually not that much of a leap to go from not knowing what your kids are doing on your computer to having them left alone for a few minutes where some real harm could happen. 

For one my young kids have access to one computer and that is an area that we can keep an eye on what they are doing.  I know exactly what games they are supposed to be playing and if I see a "new" game or places that I don't recongnize I would question it.  Also I have multiple accounts on the laptop.  They do not have access to my main account only theirs which has limited abilities.  Part of this is that I always lock the computer when I leave..which requires a password to get into my account.  Now the kids can get into theirs without a password.  But in their account they have zero access to what I may have "left open".

- Again according to you they had no password protection and this is something you would have known BEFORE you put the CC information in.   Of course we now know that that is a mute point because even by your own words it all comes down to you "forgetting" to log out.

Let me ask you this..if you "forgot" to take a bill to be mailed because your wife wanted you to take out the trash. Would you call up the company and tell them that because it wasn't your fault they should just not make you pay the late fee?

Comparing that to burning themselves is like comparing apples to a baseball bat.  So your intelligence is immediatly in question.

It is apparent you must be one of the highly trained customer service agents at kixeye.  You were right about one thing.  Spending a single cent on kixeye was a huge mistake and will never happen again.  

 Why are they responsible for your (lack of) parenting skills.

First of all why is a 6 year old left alone in a situation where apparently he can be "messing around" on your computer?  Just be lucky that something else more serious didn't happen.  You know things such as him turing on the stove and then getting burned. 

Of course one also has to wonder if you barly have enough to get groceries or gas why you are spending even $5 on a game?  After all $5 is just a bit over a gallon of gas and may be just the amount you need to make it to your next paycheck.  But then again..everyone needs some fun right.

You say that they have no security...really?  So why when I went to that site the first thing it wanted me to do was create a username and password when I tried to get to a game?  I bet they actually do have security and I am sure you will find some sort of "logout" that unless your son happens to also know your passwords probably would stop any future "issues".  Of course if this site has no security in your mind..why were you so willing to put your Credit Card information into it?

Don't expect any help from your bank but then again anything can happen.  They will give you the same reason...it is your responsibility to protect your information.  Now..just to give you a "heads-up".  Most banks as Standard Operating Procedure will issue you a "provisional" credit while they investigate.  DO NOT think that this means that you are right and won't have to pay for it.  Because what they will do is get the merchants "side" along with any proof they have.  Once they have this it will be very likely that the credit will be reversed.  Depending on the situation this could take a few weeks.
