"Lewisville Transmission" Owner: Tim Martin-TOTAL RIPOFF-LIAR/CHEAT-SCUMBAG-TRASH Transmission Repair Facility Lewisville Texas

I contacted "Tim Martin" (Owner of Lewisville Transmission) about my Classic/Vintage Automobile that the Automatic Transmission was not shifting properly.. I told him it would move forward and in reverse but would not shift out of first gear. Tim Martin, then said he would come to my place of residents to inspect the vehicle. He came over and walked around the car and explained what the problem was to me stating he could have a wrecker truck come pick the car up the same day. He gave me a price quote of $500.00 to fix it stating that it was a simple fix and also a common repair that wouldn't be hard to handle.

Several hours later my car was picked up and broght to Lewisville Transmission (Located on Kealy St. In Lewisville Texas)..

3 weeks later my car was STILL at the transmission shop and Tim Martin explained that they where backed up and would get on it asap! I told him I wanted my car back and having it for 3 weeks was obsurd when I was told it was an "EASY REPAIR"! Tim then replied stating that it wasn't an easy repair and it's going to take some time to fix it! I told him I either wanted my car fixed or wanted it back by the end of the week (It was a Tuesday and wanted it back by Friday). He said he was sorry and would do what he could to have it done!

Friday came and I didn't hear from Tim, I waited till 3P.M. to call him thinking I would not bother him and wait for him to call me but he never called, when I did call him he said he was closing at 4P.M. because he had plans for the weekend and would not return till Monday! I told him I wanted my car, and he said if I could make it over to his shop (35miles in Dallas Traffic with a wrecker truck) I could have it or I could wait till Tuesday and it would be DONE! Naturally being in the position I was in I said TUESDAY!

He contacted me on Tuesday and said my car was ready to come get it and the total costs where a WOPPING $1,075.00!! I WAS SHOCKED! He said there was more wrong with it then needed and that was the FINAL BILL!

I had a friend drive me to his place of business and drop me off. I paid him to get my car, got in my car drove down the street--AND THE CAR WOULD NOT SHIFT OUT OF 1st GEAR! I took it back and Tim's Explanation was this:

You paid me to get it to MOVE. I got it to MOVE and thats what you paid me for!!

I could NOT BELIEVE what I was hearing.. I left the car there for another 5 weeks and Lewisville Transmission NEVER FIXED THE PROBLEMS! I had my car towed away from his shop and ended up replacing the whole transmission with a recondiditoned one at another mecanic shop!

Lewisville Transmission NEVER gave me a REFUND,, NEVER RETURNED MY PHONE CALLS,, and NEVER gave me an APPOLGY for what they did..

I STRONGLY Suggest that anybody looking for any kind of transmission repairs to STAY CLEAR of Lewisville Transmission Located in Lewisville Texas on Kealy St.
