Throughout the moment of being in contact with Made-Well LA, I thought I made the right decision, having my bathing suit made with your company. I had my sketches made and showed them to you, I was so ecstatic. But as time went by, I felt that you and your team haven’t paid the necessary attention to my case and haven’t helped me make my bathing suit come closer to a reality. I don't know if its because I am not a big shot company that has tons of money, or that you didn't take me seriously because I am just a startup company, nonetheless I was disappointed.

I appreciated the time in the beginning, but as time went by, your team didn't email me promptly, barely called me when the times were necessary. I waited a little too patiently and thought to myself, I should give them a chance, but instead you guys took advantage of the situation.

In one of the meetings towards the beginning, I paid half of what was agreed on creating a proto type with your patternmaker on one of my bikini sketches that we discussed together. The other half, I would pay once the proto type was finished. This was fair to me, but weeks would go by and nothing was happening. I paid them in the middle of November, and by the end of January, I still didn't get a proto-type done. Then I get an email saying that we need to meet the patternmaker one more time to discuss my bikini for them to “start” making it. I just couldn't take it. Didn't they understand the first time I spoke with the patternmaker about my bikini?

So I emailed stating that I would like to terminate my work relation with Made-Well La and to send me my money back along with the fabrics and sketches I provided them. That email was sent Jan 27th, its now March 14 with still no check, fabrics and my sketches. I threatened them with my lawyer, and I was even willing to go physically to pick up my items but they said they would mail it to me. Its like they don't care, and you know, customer service is a big priority.

If they didn’t want to work with me, they should have just been honest and told me the truth, that they don't have time for me, or something like that, I wouldn't have wasted my time with them and I could have had my bathing suit proto-type already with another BETTER company. So long story short, “unfair, unethical, irresponsible, unprofessional, poor-follow through…you get the idea.
