 My fiance & I received news that his grandparents were ill so, we had to make an emergency trip to Jackson, Tennessee. The cheapest tickets we found were from Megabus. Before we made the rounds trip reservation with them, we called to make sure that everything would go according to what was on Their website since they do not go all the way to Jackson & we Would have to get a connecting bus. They Assured us About the pricing, Timing, etc. So, we made the Round trip reservation. The tickets were from Orlando to Atlanta then Atlanta to Memphis And back the same way. We boarded our first bus. The driver left on time (3pm) and got us to Atlanta on time. 4-5 minutes early actually. Our connecting bus from Atlanta to Memphis was supposed to depart Between 11:50pm & 12am. As we retrieved Our things & go to get on the next bus, we were told that the bus to Memphis left at 11pm From 3 different workers & that there was nothing they could do. From the time we were told that until around 1:30am, we both were on the phone with customer service because they have left us stranded in Atlanta, in the cold, with Nowhere to go, no one to call, & to add insult to injury, we were told that we could not speak to a manager, there was nothing they could do, & the only thing we could do was to go find a hotel or something until the next night when another bus would show up. Not only is, but 3 other people who were also supposed to be on the same bus. I've been emailing them about the Situation and now they're saying it was our own fault that the bus left at 11pm & not 12am. They're saying that the GPS they have showed the bus left at 11:53pm.That we can not get out money back for the unused reservation(because we never got to Memphis), and that they aren't going to take any responsibility whatsoever. So, not only did they take our money, they left us & 3 other people stranded in Atlanta. A place Unknown to either one of us. All we have asked them is for the money for the unused round trip tickets from Atlanta to Memphis. But they refused and were so nasty about it. All of Their customer service agents except for the first lady we spoke to.
