Man what a dude! What a disaster! My hot water heater spouted like "Olde Faithful"and I needed to get it replaced. So I called the gut on the sticker Mike. Since he had done this one(and did a good job) I say hey lets do it again! Well I called him and set up a time for the next day...right off the back I should have know this was going to be bad.My wife had to call him to remind him,he arrives late looks at the situation and states flatly,"this gonna cost ya $700.00 ",my wife calls me we talk and after a moment we say "go ahead". After some sons get out the old one, set off the smoke detector he hauls it off,thet bring in the new on install it fill it(1 hr 45 mins) They leave and are done. Hey man don't make 325.00 on a simple job to pay 3 people on a 1 person or 2 person job and expect to keep me as a repeat customer! I am so done this company can't replace a sink stopper for me! Do your self a favor shop around!

In response to the disgruntle consumer (JOB 8/2010), I'm sorry you felt you were treated unfairly. I researched which job this was and believe I know who you are. In 2006 we replaced your water heater under warranty for labor charges only. We also did a small electrical job for you.
The job cost was certainly not based on the number of people that showed up. The extra person was actually a nephew visiting and wanting to see what plumbing was all about. And if you recall, we quoted the price up front for the replacement and there was no charge for coming out to look at the job. We even waited for your wife to call you to discuss it. If you didnt want our company to do the job, we would have left without any charges.
As far as showing up late, we try not to give anyone an appt. time, b/c the jobs before are very unpredictable. When we arrive at a job for one thing, we always get the "while you are here", which is fine, we are in the customer service business. If we can do the extra work at the time we usually do it.
As far as taking 1 hr 45 mins. to do the job, isn't that a good thing?
As for setting off the smoke alarm, when you solder a pipe close to an alarm its hard not to set it off (soldering causes smoke).
We take pride in pleasing our customers but we also realize we cannot please everyone all the time. But we still try!
...always get referrals from your neighbors and friends, price shopping doesnt always mean the job gets done right!!!
