Modern Marketing Systems inc complete ripoff, scam Phoenix Arizona

After reading Rhonda from Idaho and other's adventures with Modern Market, I feel like I am reading my own story.  The sequence of events and the results and answers from Jim Ford are so similar it is clear this man and this company have alot of practice at ripping off consumers.

I too was contacted from this company for a "foolproof" and most importantly GUARANTEED income from a home based internet business.  They would build me a set of "microsites" based on my own interests and I would recoup my investment within 12 months or receive a 120% moneyback guarantee.  I have the guarantee in writing.  Where were all these reports when I investigated this in mid 2008??  Anyway, buyer beware, I did make the investment at the minimal level at least figuring I could always add more if they really worked and I could get my money back if they did not.

Needless to say, I have never made a dime.  The microsites WERE created, but have never produced the income.  When I asked for my money back I was told by Jim Ford that I was not entitled because I never paid the hosting fees.  WHAT??  Then he said he didn't have a credit card to charge them to.  Well, he had my card to charge the initial $2500 or so.  Anyway, he sent new paperwork and he said if I held up my end (paying the monthly fees) they would make my sites a priority and things would start to happen and I had to give it another year.  Well, I have called and emailed several times to follow up on the non progress and today I found a suspension notice in my Adsense account.  This led me to investigate further finding their website suspended and the email bounced back, all leading me to find that many others have had the same experience.

There is a recommendation to file a compaint with the Attorney General in AZ, which I will do and see where it takes me.  I am interested in any class action suit, but doubt there will ever be any money to pay any of us back.
