If you are considering buying a puppy from Underhill Kennels you might want to know they appear to be related to Monksberry Farm. The sellers have the same last name, "Monks", are from the same city, and I saw an advertisement on a puppy advertising website featuring the same parents of the puppy I bought from Monksberry Farm.
I bought a puppy from Monksberry Farm which has moderate hip dysplasia, and was rated in the worst 10% of its breed in hip laxity scores. I think it is extremely unethical to change your kennel name and still be selling puppies with potential genetic defects. If you are buying a dog and spending $1000 be especially sure you are getting OFA scores, and any other applicable genetic testing. Do not trust the breeder if they claim to have the test results, do not believe until you see them!!!! It is not worth it to spend so much on what you deem to be a quality puppy to only have to have that animal suffer and potentially need a hip replacement in middle age.

That Old Hag Kathleen Monks is a Liar..... These peoplele are operating multiple websites to sell their sick, defective, unsocialized puppies! You're right when you spend well over $1,000.00 for a dog should receive actual vet documentation for the puppy not some Fraudulent wanna be hand made typed up Health Record! We Should file a complaint with Better Business Bureau! She Lied to me and sold me a dog that is undersized for the breed, and is extremely Skittish, and have a horrible ear crop job! She absloutely does not know anything about the Breeds of dogs she owns she referred me to the AKC website! As a reputable breeder you should be knowledgeable of your own lines and know the breed of dogs you own inside and out! A reputable breeder only breeds once or twice a year! This Old Hag have puppies constantly for sell! I will probably try to file a class action lawsuit against her! You should try to get your money back! These people do not realize that people are going to have these animals for the next 10-14 years with these problems! The name Underhill Kennels speaks for itself for crying out loud!!!! EMAIL monksberrytfarm@hotmail.com and call her 417-254-1085 and demand a refund! Take her old a** to court she is supposed to honor that contract that you signed for the puppy!
