Monster Constuctors Mark Womack Signed a contract with Monster Constructors to finish a outdoor kitchen and add a concrete countertop. Mark failed to complete the work when promised, failed to complete the work as we agreed, and within 1 month, there was discoloration and defects. He provided a lifetime warranty on craftmanship and is now stating it will be fixed 6 months from now. Dallas / Fort Worth Texas

Contracted Moster Constructors to complete an outdoor kitchen and make and install a concrete countertop.

Mark explained that he is an artist and that the countertop would be one of a kind. We paid approximately $2500 more than other contractors for the craftmanship and artistic approach he was promising to bring.

We signed a contract and it took more than 6 weeks for Mark to perform the work. Was completed the week before Christmans 2015.

When he installed the countertop, he had mad a backsplash that was made where the power outlets faced up instead of out which is the whole reason we added the backsplash.

He also measured the grill incorrectly and it would not fit in the countertop. We agreed to add a lip so the grill would sit in the countertop. He had some of his workers come out to install the lip. While the workers were there we showed them some discoloration on the countertop and asked if it was due to the cold or a defect. They advised it was a deffect and it looked like the concrete countertop was not sealed correctly. They told me to contact the owner (Mark) and he should come fix it.

I have a lifetime workmanship guarantee that said to file a claim take pictures and email them. I did so the 1st week of February 2016 and after waiting 2 months for a reply I am being told it will be fixed when he has time which is around July 2016.
