Before I prepaid to get exclusive leads, I discussed thoroughly with the rep at Networx as to what constituted a valid lead. When we were in agreement that their operational mode was the same as my expectations, I gave the go ahead to commence paying for leads. Right away I started getting bogus leads from people that did not want services at the time they contacted me. The leads would call to tell me they were not calling for service; they just wanted to know if I charged a fee, would come out if the service company at their house at the present time couldn't fix it... if I would;

wanted to wait to see what the insurance adjuster was going to say about her undiagnosed system etc. The customer service rep agreed that the 4 leads I wanted credit on were not qualified/valid leads, and they would get credited within the week. He went as far as stating that the leads were so poor that if they were to give this poor quality of leads to every contractor that did business with them, they would go out of business.

When the credit did not go through, I called and talked to the original rep that oversold their program. He promised to send an audio recording of our conversation which supports the facts of what we both agreed would be acceptable vs. unacceptable leads. He has now refused to send the recording. There idea of a lead is,"Hello, I am not in need of your services and I don't want you to come to my house." What a lack of integrity to commit such a fraud.

CONFIRMED - NETWORX GETS LEADS FROM CRAIGSLIST

AUTHOR: MichaeleAZ - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, December 13, 2016

Received this letter back from Networx and the non stop nationwide spam they hit Craigslist with every day. They claim they only get 'a little' bit of leads from CL except that with the massive spamming operation going on I have to believe they get a TON of calls from there all the while hiding the identity of their company in their advertisements. These are the leads they sell you for around $50 a pop. As I posted before SAVE YOUR MONEY and just post your own CL ads and get calls FOR FREE. No self respecting 'leads' company would do this. Networx operates by isolating online traffic looking for local qualified contractors, converting those inquiries for work needed into leads for the contractors in our service. While the vast majority of our traffic comes through direct searches on search engines such as Google, Bing, and Yahoo, we do work with a network of affiliates that capture a broader range of online traffic to ensure that our contractors receive every opportunity for securing quality work that is feasible. One of those avenues that our affiliates utilize is Craigslist, accounting for a small percentage of the leads that we receive. We make sure to directly verify each lead by speaking to each and every potential customer by means of incoming phone call in order to provide our contractors with a quality work opportunity. What does concern me is that you were under the impression from someone at our company that we do not receive any leads from Craigslist. It would be greatly appreciated if you could provide the name of the agent or agents with whom you spoke so that we can make sure to correct any misunderstanding on our part, and train our representatives more effectively. Again, thank you for contacting us. Please don't hesitate to contact me directly if you would like any further clarification, or have any more questions or concerns. Sincerely, Zachary Waxer Lead Quality Associate www.networx.com 646-791-4553 zachary@networx.com

Contact the BBB

AUTHOR: MichaeleAZ - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, December 08, 2016

Please file a complaint about this company to the BBB. I have verified 100% that they are sourcing leads from Craigslist which is why the customer base for the bids is so crappy and why the only thing customers want is the cheapest bid and will turn down anyone else. But they can still claim they sent you a lead and charge you and multiple others without supplying a real lead.

Just call the number running in the ads here in STL 314-207-0455 and see who answers. It will be Networx. Then call their contractor sign up number and ask them if they source their leads from CL. RECORD THE CALL. When they tell you flat out they do not and never have ask them about this phone number. I bet they hang up on you.

Networx Sources Leads FROM CRAIGSLIST!

AUTHOR: MichaeleAZ - (United States)

POSTED: Tuesday, November 01, 2016

It's great when companies like Networx, 1800Contractor and Home Advisor charge people for leads. All three have been caught running ads on Cralgslist which is a free classified site. They post many misleading and false statements to pull leads in through random 800 numbers run through RingCentral and are part of a nationwide effort from coast to coast on Craigslist. We have caught HomeAdvisor six times this year, Mr. Rooter (a plumbing referral service), 1800 Contractor seven times and now Networx (which gets contractors from HomeAdvisor).

Here is the text of the ad for Networx

/denver.craigslist.org/hss/5854615006.html

Handyman Services, we provide business people like you with all the handyman and porterage services you may need.
As you know, offices require ongoing maintenance and things can break at any time. Sinks can become blocked, light bulbs
will blow, furniture may need re-arranging along with a whole manner of things. It takes time,
and that means time away from your important role at work!
Thankfully, the time you spend fixing these problems can be eliminated entirely!
In business, your goal is to be as productive as you can, and here at Handyman Services, we help you to achieve that,
by taking the hassle out of finding the people you need to fix things and carry out those all-essential handyman tasks.
PLEASE CALL ME FOR FREE ESTIMATES

844-590-7668

**** Handyman *** Handyman **** Handyman ***** Handyman **** Handyman ***** Handyman *****HANDYMAN* quality service - fair reasonable pricing

Now contact Networx and ask them flat out where they source their leads from and they will tell you from their website and search engine links. Ask them if they source the leads they expect you to pay for from Craigslist and just like HomeAdvisor they will tell you no...absolutely not. When they say that please ask them to confirm it by email then sue them for false advertisments. NEVER PAY FOR LEADS YOU CAN GET FROM CRAIGSLIST FOR FREE.

Networx is now garbage

AUTHOR: capt14k - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, February 10, 2016

What the previous poster said makes complete sense. I started with Networx in December 2011 and my first month generated $140,000 in jobs. In 2012 I did was $210,000. The next year 2013 was right around $200,000. Come 2014 it dropped to $60,000 but was still worth it. In January 2015 a rep tried to get me to take on the exclusive keyword leads for which I declined. The first half of 2015 we did $15,000 worth of work through Networx. In July 2015 I tried to cancel and they tried selling me the exclusive leads again for which I declined. Since then I have generated $2,600 in income from Networx. I called to cancel today and they said the rep would call me within 24hrs. I have spent $2,550 at the rate of $425 a month for 2 territories and I generated $2,600 in business. The worst part is the last 5 months I generated $600 in business and spent $2,125. That is like lighting $2k on fire. Networx had a good thing going and got greedy. Their unlimited leads was different and worked. I will not be swayed to stay. If anything there should be a class action suit because they always said the exclusive keyword leads would not hurt the unlimited leads. This was obviously bogus because almost all our leads now have been in the ghettos and nowhere near our home service area. It seems like they are only giving the leads no one from the exclusive keyword leads responds to. This change in service without notice or change in fee is unethical and Networx should be reimbursing their original unlimited leads contractors

hello my name is Anthony I have been getting leads from networx for the last month I find that it is a lucrative lead generation company in 7 leads that I have received in the past month i have closed on three of them it is not 7 out of 7 but it is greater than all the other lead generation companies that i have delt with in the past. To all the contractors out there we have to take some of the responsibility to sell the jobs if we can not close then it is not there fault i agree that bogus leads happen like ive said have delt with plenty of generation companies but so far i have had full conversations with about 90 percent of the leads that were sent to me. Lead companies are designed to let contractors get there foot in the door the rest is on us good luck and god bless.

Networx Scam

AUTHOR: NJElectrican - ()

POSTED: Friday, April 25, 2014

I have been a advertizer with networx for over 7 years, over the past 2 years the leads have been garage at best.  I finally cancelled my account after talking with them and discovered the truth about there company.

Paid advertizers on there web site will only get the amount of leads that add up to 20.00 per lead.  Example if you pay 200.00 per month you will get up to 10 leads, 140.00 per month 7 leads.  Here is what the DON'T tell you.

You can get verified leads at a cost of 37.50 each in the area which you select, These verified leads, match keywords that there company pulls and does not give to the guys paying 20.00.   Some of the keywords may be (Electrican) Service upgrade, panel change, generator, new home, recessed lighting. And remember you are not the only one there are at least 4 contractors recieving these leads at 37.50 x 4 = 150.00 per lead.

The keywords they give to there 20.00 leads are repair, lighting, switch, outlet.  In other words the junk that will not produce more then a 200.00 bill.

My advise is that all the contractor get together and start a class action law suit against them, just talking about it will do nothing.
