I applied on Craigslist for the following:

talent needed for a commercial and print campaign for the retail chain Urban Outfitters
please provide pictures an email address and a contact number all travel hotel expenses are included.

I sent over my headshot. I recieved a text message from Denise Spector who stated her boss Paul was interested in speaking with me. He had me call in for a conference call. There was 3 other people on the phone line. Afterwards I was then sent a email that had said I was selected and I need to call Paul again. I called Paul and he directed me toward newyorktalents.com and said I had to register because I was non Union and pay the application fee because I was considered a indepenedant contractor. After doing some research I saw that the "WhoIS" look up came back with :

As you can see the website had  been up for less 24 hours when I researched it.It had listed Mark Ginsberg and a different address that they listed on their website.

So typed in Mark Ginsberg and it came up for  Report: #1179703

Right Here on Ripoff Report. They were trying the same thing they tried to do on this individual just under a month ago. Dont be fooled by these people. Real talent agents dont make money unless you do. Sure there is costs assoicated with seting up your head shot and porfolio but that is fees you pay outside of a talent agency. There job is to get you booked. So they cant make money unless you make money and  they can't charge you anything unless you complete a gig under contract with said talent agency as your representation.

Be Advised these people are only trying to get you to sign up on their website so they make money.
