We ordered a camcorder for our 9 year old grandson on December 6, 2012 (order #4079685).  On December 12, 2012 we were advised that the item was shipped.  The web site led us to believe that if an order was placed by December 10, delivery was guaranteed by Christmas.

On December 22, we opened customer request ticket #982194 inquiring as to the status of our purchase.  To date we have contacted the company, via email and phone, more than 5 times without satisfaction.

On December 25, the company admitted to having a shipping error and asked us to return the item for a full refund of the price, excluding shipping, for store credit.  As we still haven't received the item, this is not possible and refused store credit.

The latest communication from the company was on December 29, "I advice that you refuse the item upon delivery and when it is returned to us we will queue your refund to be processed. We cannot process a refund since the item is not in our hands and is being shipped to you."

Since we were not able to wrap a present for our grandson, another purchase was made locally.  We do not want the camcorder that wasn't delivered per the guarantee.  We want a full refund of the original purchase, including shipping. 

nomorerack you have all the information you need.  Refund our money, not store credit!  It's your choice to make this right or not.

Refund Promised - 12/30/12

Received this email promising a refund back to my financial institution - 12/30/12

Will update this report when I receive this refund, no later than 7 business days from now (01/10/13)...

Good day! I would like to begin by saying that we apologize profusely for the issue you are having. In keeping good faith to our customers, I have already initiated a refund for this order. Kindly allow your financial institution to post the funds in accordance to their applicable standard posting time which may take up to a maximum of 5-7 business days. In the event that you receive your order, you may go ahead and keep it as a gift from us! I hope we can do right by you.  Thank you for your patience and understanding.

NoMoreRack posted words with no substance.  I'm going through the same thing.  Returned an item and FOUR WEEKS later, still NO REFUND!  Just EXCUSES!  An item ordered in NOVEMBER NEVER RECEIVED!  After several complaints, still NO REFUND!

I believe it's time to file with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) for a full blown investigation.  In the meantime, I'm filing a complaint with my bank to get my money back.
