I moved to the area and got my first home with a wood burning home. Last spring I stopped in their yard to see how much they charged and what kind of firewood they had. The firewood boss was named Scott and he was very arrogant and their yard was littered with beer cans everywhere. The sign says public welcome and they sold camp firewood so it wasn't like I stumbled uninvited to their deliverance compound.

I talked to a couple other places and ended up finding wood from somewhere else. I burned through more than expected and needed more wood and after calling around I decided to call them again when no one else could deliver. I talked on the phone to mike and tj. Mike set up the original delivery for seasoned fir at $200 a cord. A week went by and I didn't hear anything. I called several times and after about 5 unreturned phone calls and two days past the scheduled day tj picked up. He was extremely nice but he didn't have any idea about the delivery. He rescheduled it and I thought everything was fine. They showed up several hours late and then charged me $225.

After we started to burn through we found out we had a third of cottonwood and plenary of wet wood. I called pissed off and kept getting redirected to Mike O'Malley who was the owner. I never got ahold of him and never got reimbursed. If you google their company there is the story of their old firewood driver who had outstanding warrants for rape and attempted murder and shot and killed a Clackamas county sheriff and if you google his name you come up with his mugshot from a duii crash into a building several years ago.

Things seem to have improved

AUTHOR: Jay D - ()

POSTED: Sunday, December 11, 2016

I recently moved to the area and needed a cord of firewood delivered quickly.  There have been times in the past when other companies have delivered wood that was nowhere near ready to burn.  O'Malley Brothers assured me the wood would be well seasoned and a 3 part mix of soft & hard woods.

The load was delivered promptly, and set down right where I wanted it. The wood has been just as promised. Well laid fires start with one match and burn all night. Thanks!
