Be careful with Richard too, they are predators. He will call you up (or have some body call you up) to ask for your investment to help Opvest to "have some cash in the Opvest and in the mean time they will help you to overcome the financial difficulty". after opening the account they will show you some profit (this proves you he is OK in trading). the transactions are taped so they think they can not be sued. He is a slick guy who is good at phone and will lure you into investing more money into options trading but all he does is selling losing options to you while maintaining his pretended intention that he is trying his best to making you money. Don't deal with Richard at Opvest, I was asked 2500$ in the beginning and then was asked to add 2500$(I only gave him 1000$), and it was down to 200$ in 6 months!! ------ Person who had this tricky behavior should be punished.

It is the Opvest that allows this type of cheatings. Not only Richard Pelfrey single person. After my account was beaten down, Opvest enforced me to quit! They said to me over the phone that they "must get rid of any complained clients" so they can "maintain" their "excellent reputation"!

Wish I hadd read this first before dealing with Richard. My experience was the same as yours, except after he had lost 80% of my investment using the same tactics, he "left the company" and Opvest had a new broker who was willing to assist traders like myself who had been " badly beaten up". He took a reduced fee to try and help me out, and then proceeded to lose the last half of my remaining $1000. I invest $5500 and limp away with $500 remaining. And I have no doubt the agents are laughing all the way to the bank.
