I received a contact from Janet Saberon, by email, who saw my resume on Career Builder.  She offered me a job forwarding packages for her company.  The offer was $40 per package and a salary of $3200 after the first trial month.  I was not working and I moved forward.  She asked for various personal information and a resume.  I kept thinking this was a scam, but she was paying for the shipping?  I started doing searches on the Internet about her company and similar SCAMS.  I called her company in DC and a guy answered, it seemed like I woke him up.  He was very unprofessional and wouldn't give me any information about the business, he just referred me back to Janet.  I got more suspicious.  I started doing research, since I was curious how they were operating and making money.  So, this is how I believe these companies operate.  Credit cards are stolen and used to buy stuff online.  The thief contacts the shipping company and has them provide an address to send the packages and then they are forwarded to the thief.  As a "logistics manager" we are to open the package and inspect the contents, always expensive electronics, something you can sell.  I originally thought that they wanted me to forward illegal stuff, life drugs or guns, but not necessarily.  So, when she said I would inspect the contents, I thought that the business was legitimate.  Not so fast, I did the research about stolen credit cards and buying stuff and having an ignorant third part forward the stuff to the thief.  Basically, I would be part of the ring, so I started getting very negative about working for this company.  So, I told Janet, before I shipped item one, I didn't want to work for her.  She didn't respond to my email and I never heard from her again.  This confirmed my belief that the "program" was a scam.  I read another report on this site where the individual actually started shipping the boxes, which is unfortunate.  Nowadays, we have so much information at our fingertips, on the Internet.  I suggest that anyone who is approached for any opportunity that involves CASH without any contact on their behalf, look up their information on the Internet to verify their authenticity.  In most cases at least one person has been ripped off.  In my case they only got some personal information, but I have changed my checking account, so that information is worthless.  Since this time, I have received at least 5-6 more offerings for exactly the same opportunity, shipping boxes from my home.  This is a hot SCAM right now and hopefully potential victims will read this and other comments on the Internet before they waste their time and possibly money in these SCAMS.
