Passages Ventura Taking Advantage Of Desperate Individuals Who Need Help With Addicition Port Hueneme, California

While researching substance abuse facilities I contacted Ventura Passages & was told that they could treat patients with mental health issues including OCD, bipolar & depression in addition to substance & alcohol abuse. While doing more research, I found that Ventura Passages is licensed through the California Department of Alcohol & Drug Programs for treatment of substance & alcohol abuse only, not mental health issues. They are accepting patients with mental health issues into this facility that they are unable to provide treatment for.  In addition, they do not disclose until after the patient has been admitted to their facility that the initial cost of treatment does not include medications or even the initial intake appointment with a physician upon admission. They say that there are no hidden costs, not true.  They charge for just about everything, in addition to the $18,500 they quoted for a 30 day stay. They have no on-site medical personnel except for RN's & LVN's, all Physicians, Psychiatrists, Psychologists etc. are contracted which equates to, your chances of seeing the same individual more than once in a 30 day stay is slim, there is no on-going care with the same medical professional, none of this information is disclosed until you are in the facility, this scam has to end, they are preying on individuals who are desperate to shed themselves of the addiction that for most has consumed their lives and caused them more pain then anyone without an addiction can fathom.  They take your money and abandon you when you arrive; they are NOT licensed or capable to care for anyone with Mental Health Issues.
