Promag Energy Group, Inc Heating and Air services Orlando, Florida

Entered into a 3 year service agreement for $179.00 in 2011. They are to come out twice a year to just look at the thermostat and air handling unit. In 2012 they called to make an appointment to come out and take a look. No showed. 6 months later they called to make an apppointment and no showed. After no showing the second time the Orlando office was contacted. Rather than honor their contract and send someone out no solution was offered so we asked for a refund. They refused and said the contract would be extended. January 2013 they call for an appointment, they finally showed. We were told the coils were clogged and it would cost to clean them. I suggested since they neglected in keeping with their contract to have it done at no cost. The on duty office person (Manager or other title not sure) for the weekend I was told wasn't able to make that decision and I was to call the office on Monday and speak to the manager. I insisted they call me, I'm not tracking them down. I only knew they called cause I checked my caller ID. They left no message and have made no attempt to follow up. The technicians have no customer service skills at all, take no responsibility for the company and only after pressuring him to do the work in lieu of missing all of 2012 did he contact someone. He called them while he was outside, when he came in to tell me they would do it I asked him to call them so I can talk to him, that's when he said the person her spoke with didn't have the authority to make that decision. He put a note on the service paperwork he had to have someone call me the following Monday. I will be contacting a local TV station to picque their interest in doing an investiagtive report on A/C companies in the area. It was done in a New York suburb, they called 6 different companies. All the station did was have a tech do a complete check to certify nothing was needed then disconnect a wire to keep it from running properly all 6 companies failed to find the wire and wanted to to multi hundred dollar fixes.
