Proud American Vanlines Dishonest, Unresponsive, Held Items Hostage Miami, FL Nationwide

DO NOT USE PROUD AMERICAN VANLINES, they are a dishonest and fraudulent company.

Their DOT # only has 1 registered driver and 1 registered truck, obviously they are operating more than 1 truck – I had 2 different trucks and 2 different drivers.  The truck my items arrived in was a Budget rental truck.

The subsidiary that charges your credit card “Moving Services FL” is not a legally registered business and it’s phone number is disconnected

The sales representative I spoke with at Proud American Vanlines, Marsha Grant, clearly stated this would be a “straight” move, picked up and delivered the same day.  Ultimately the movers were scheduled to pick up my items at 2pm one day and Marsha told me because it was an afternoon pick up, they would be delivered the next day in the same truck.  My items arrived 7 DAYS later.   

Marsha Grant was also extremely communicative before the movers arrived and said she would be my contact during move day. I attempted calling and emailing Marsha dozens of times during the 7-DAY period before my items arrived.  I left her 3 dozen messages, asked for her manager, asked where my items were and when they would arrive- all requests were met with transfers to voicemail and no returned calls.
