I called this place to order some alternators as advertised on their web site. I ordered a 170 amp unit, and got a 140 amp unit which was a cheaper unit. I called to try to remedy the situation, got a bunch of pronises and was told by the owner "we dont even carry the parts for the 170 amp alternator." I aksed why it was posted on the web site for sale and he said "I dont know why its still on there." He explained that the 140 amp unit would work find and encouraged me to install and run it. He took my number and said he would call me back with a resolution.
He never called back, ignored several email messages, and remains MIA.
We installed the alternator only to find that it does not even work! This is now the SECOND inoprable alternator we got from these guys. The first one had bad brushes in it. We fixed it ourselvs and shortly after, the regulator failed.
It appears that, although BUILT in the USA, the parts are of Chinese quality.
I would wholehartedly warn anyone buying anything from these guys that once they get your money, your on your own! We are going to the credit card company to get a resoultion, but these guys are BAD NEWS!
