My Fiance had purchased a dog tag from Rapid Repair for me for Christmas.  She had my sons picture put on it with his name on the back.  After 2 weeks of me wearing it on my necklace the dog tag started tarnishing.

We took the dog tag back to Rapid Repair and made them aware of the situation.  The first guy said that they would make another one to replace the first one and that he didn't understand why the dog tag would do that.  Once the other tag came in we went to go pick it up and the picture wasn't the same nor was the lettering on the back.

It was a different person working there that we talked to and he "Buffed" the first one and cleaned it up some.  He also told us that we could purchase the other tag if we wanted it.  We declined.  After another 2 weeks of having the same dog tag it once again started to tarnish and you could see the what appeared to be copper under the picture.

We took the tag back to them and I told the guy that we just wanted our money back.  He told us that because of the time and labor they put in to making the tag that he could only give us half of our money back and he would make us another tag.  We told him no because it was costing me time and money to keep driving up there and all we wanted was a refund back.

He kept arguing with us about it and finally called the owner of the place.  She declined to talk to us but told him that they were not going to refund our money nor replace the tag and that they were not responsible for the tag.  But we could buy another tag for full price or buy the tag that they have on display with my sons picture on it for half price.

I never gave them permission to put my sons picture on display when we asked them to take it out of the display case the guy told us no.  They told us before that they were going to use the other tag to print over it.  Nobody said anything about putting it on display.. I am extremely upset and refuse to let this company treat people this way.  Even though the dog tag was $53.00 it is the principal of it now.

I will never do business with these people again and hope to take some kind of civil action towards them.  If not to get my money back, than to at least get my sons picture off of display.
