Evelyn Townsend hired me to work on her projects at $5/hour.  She sent me the basic instructions from her clients together with the materials needed to build her clients websites.  I have diligently worked on them, having 4 websites built in a month.  There were times that I spent more than what I charged her just so I could comply to what her clients wanted to add or to be revised.  There was even a time when the website that I was working on crashed because she wanted me to try and discover how one of her projects would work the way she wanted it.

I have been loaded for a month that I don't even have the time to work on my invoice and send it to her. But at the end of the month since I needed money for my son's college enrollment, I found time to work on it and send it to her but unfortunately, I was not able to save it so I asked her if it's ok to just send in the hours. When she got my invoice, she questioned the time that I worked on the websites.  I explained my side that I am not spending too much time on the site were it not for the revisions wanted by the client. I could very well finish them at once if all I ever do is copy and paste and not minding the instructions.  I have to read the instructions carefully so as not to make mistakes and repeat everything all over again when the client sees that I didn't follow instructions. I told her that if only she took time to read their instructions, it's not as easy as she thinks it is as I have to think of ways to comply to what they wanted to be done.  Like the airstreamgroup.ca, I know I am already done with it but she was looking for something else that I should have done like the usermanuals.  Yes these materials are supplied but it was not stated how to put them in the site and I have to think of ways how to properly present them.  As with Libby's site, again the materials were supplied but it was disorganized. I have to take time to sort them out before I put them in her site.  It's not as easy as copy pasting them anywhere. I realized we don't see eye to eye here. While I go for quality of work, she is much more concerned with the time consumed.  Again I requested for her to send my pay so that I can withdraw them in time for my son's enrollment as my son need it badly. 

She didn't responded to my emails anymore so I sent her messages at Skype since I could see that she is online with an away status.  I have been monitoring if she receives my messages until I went to bed. When I woke up, I checked my email, still no reply from her and I checked on my Skype.  I got nervous when I saw that she removed me from her contacts. That's when I realized that she has no intention of paying me up.  She owes me $625 for a month's work on her clients' websites and for that work, they charged their clients for as much as $35/hr and they don't even want to pay me up.  They have taken credit for my work at my expense.
