Savvier Mama Wants Her Body Back Hidden Charges auto ship Van Nuys, California

BUYER BEWARE!!!

I ordered the (supposedly) $9.99 Mama Wants Her Body Back DVD.  When I ordered it I was set up on an automatic shipment of more DVD's (fine print that I did not read, not clearly stated).

I received my second video with a charge to my credit card of $19.99 plus $6.99 for S&H.  I called immediately to cancel and was told that they would send out a label for the video to be returned and I could get my money back with the 30 day guarantee.  I did not receive the label and never sent the video back.  I knew I was out the $26.98, but coughed it up to lesson learned.

One month later I was charged another $19.99.  When I called about this they said it was the remaining charge for the second video.  Really???  They charge $46.97 for a DVD????  Yes, that is apparently the right amount.  I did find it in the fine print.  It was poorly worded to look like they would charge $19.99 a month for each video, but it turns out you only get a video every 2 months.  So yes, $46.97 is the cost for the extra videos.  This was an expensive lesson to learn.   Their customer service department is not very helpful either.

This company engages in deceptive practices.  I want others to know so that they are not taken by surprise like I was (learn from my lessons).  Please know what you are getting into when you order this DVD.
