Scootworks Inc EastRC.org Fraud, Theft. Zebulon North Carolina

Read a few negative reports about Scootworks.  Initiated contact and they explained that they had a rough patch last year and that the complaints were unfounded... Decided to purchase LAST Refurbished belt conversion kit (Listed as in stock).  Processed payment and in the payment form it says (3-5 days) I would get a tracking number and confirmation of shipment.

Waited 5 days sent email inquiring, was told weather delays and that belt is being cut and it would be shipped out tomorrow.  waited another week.. was told equipment was just repaired and belt was being cut will ship next day.  Waited another week, sent another email no reply.. Finally 21 days after they graciously took my money I sent another email wanting an explaination, still waiting for a reply.  All this time they are still advertising the Last Kit that I ordered as in stock.

Good thing I paid with paypal.  Going to give them until the end of the week (25 days) then going to file dispute with paypal.  Being as this was an international purchase I've already filed a claim with the Federal Trade Commission, Royal Canadian Mounted Police, and I'm going to be contacting the District Atourney's office of Wake County.

I highly recommend you don't purchase anything from this moron (Dave Hockaday) in regards to Scootworks.com or his "asset shelter" company EastRC.org.  (David and Debbie Hockaday, the Scootworks owners, went bankrupt on Feb 11, 2013. They have at least one legal judgment against their company for $40,000 (on file at Wake County, NC)

Had I known about the lawsuit I would not have ordered from them.
