A young gentleman came to my door and after 3 dogs barking away at him, I made the choice to hear what he was pitching.  While he was a charming young man, it was not clear what he was selling, and every time I tried to read through the documentation, he changed the subject to a personal matter.  

While endearing, red flags started going off when I inquired if they accept check and he kept saying cash only.  He then informed me that their bank relationship is damaged due to a salesperson having a check made out to him personally.  Any door to door business that is cash only and apparently does not have a bank relationship is alarming.  When a bank won't work with you, there is good reason...
