Sightly Inc RIP OFF -- Will Promise you ANYTHING to get your marketing Dollars -- Del Mar California

A Sitghtly sales rep contacted us by phone and made bold promises that their online marketing campaign could make our phones ring for only $2 per call guaranteed.   We explained to them that we had tried Google adwords in the past and that paid internet advertizing had not proven cost effective in the past.

Their sales rep then did a market analysis on our key words and told us that he could generate 60 to 90 calls per month, for an initial setup fee of $250 and as little as $1 and certainly no more than $2 per call.   

We asked specifically what happens if there are not enough calls and he said that we would be offered a refund because they did not want any chargebacks or dissatified customers. Once we were finished talking, he brought someone else on the line to finish the sale. There were NO WRITTEN TERMS other than a few emails.  Nothing that the slick salesman told us was recorded.

The campaing was supposed to target Dallas Texas,  but they ran the ads in Florida

They created a video but it was for Greensboro NC

It took them over a week to get it running in the right city.

It was supposed to be limited to cell phones that were GPS verified to be within 20 miles of our shop, but when the phone finally rang none of the calls were in our service radius.    Only ONE was even in Texas

We got 3 calls, none in our area.

We generated $0 dollars in sales

Our cost per call as $100 / call

So we cancelled everything with them, but instead of refunding us, they told us "tough".  We issued a charge-back on our credit card, but they fought it with lies.

DO NOT EVER DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY -- THEY ARE LIARS.   THEY WILL APPARENTLY PROMISE YOU ANYTHING TO MAKE A SALE.
