I am being charged by SMC for services I did not get and do not want. I never got the packet from this company which was suppose to explain how I could cancel my membership from them before 30 days. I called them, more than 3 or 4 times, as the 30 days got closer to tell them that I had not gotten any information about selling or canceling.


I have continued to call, but each time it takes close to an hour to get an answer. It makes me wonder about those high volumes of calls. Are all of those calls being made to cancel? I have finally started sending e-mails. I can tell by the answers to my e-mails they are not being read. I think they are computer generated.I am being told by e-mail that since I did not send the packet back, that supposedly contained information, before the 30 days, I still owe SMC $479.40.


I have never ordered anything or sold anything from SMC. I did finally get some catalogs that show merchandise to sell. I had told them not to send me anthing else. I will be sending this back because this is still not the packet that explains the company. I made a mistake by opening it because I thought I had finally gotten the packet they keep telling me about.


If I do get to talk to a human voice, I get a different response from each person I talk to. I am still being charged anyway. I have had to cancel my credit cards until I can get this company to stop charging me for something I do not have and did not get.


I would be glad to send the packet back and never have anything to do with this company again. How do I get out of this horrible deal? I want others to please not get involved with this company.


Please never pay for something that can keep being charged to your credit cards or bank because they will keep charging you even though you want to cancel the services you are or are not getting.
