I am writing in regards to MPOWERD's Intellectual Property relating to Luci (r) solar powered lantern. The company entitled, Solar Sun Lantern, is branding and selling a knock off of MPOWERD's Luci (r) solar lantern.
As you can verify from press on MPOWERD's website, MPOWERD introduced a prototype of the Luci (r) solar lantern at least as early as June 2012. MPOWERD's patent application on the lantern was originally filed on November 1, 2012 and MPOWERD now has U.S utility and design applications pending (Nos. 13/926 and 29/457,682).
It has come to our undertanding that Solar Sun Lantern may be sourcing the knock off product without their knowledge of our patent rights. However upon numerous attempts to contact Solar Sun Lantern we have received no response and therefore find it necessary to report them. We hope that upon viewing this report they become alert of the situation and reach our to us ASAP.
