Employees of this firm, specifically Amanda Friedt and Jennifer Mancini, as well as interns, have been writing fake reviews of their clients services on Yelp. In these reviews, they makes dishonest claims about their "experiences" with their clients business services, always give their clients 4 or 5 star ratings, and never disclose that they are in fact being paid to manage the company's brand and online reputation.
Clients of SS Digital Media whom have been review by employees - including Modern Skate and Surf, Royal Oak, MI; Mike DiLaura & Associates, Mount Clemens, MI; Kent City Ford, Kent City, MI; Best Western Grandville Inn, Grandville, MI; and Drayton Group Inc., Auburn Hills, MI - may or may not be aware of this deceptive and highly unethical business practice. Friedt even went so far as to write a review for SS Digtal Media, claiming they helped her build a new website for her business and they have "great customer service."
The filer of this complaint has reported these reviews, and the reviewers, to Yelp. Only one review has since been removed (Friedt's review of her own company), and no further actions has been taken on behalf of Yelp.
