Station casinos on their website list daily jackpots paid out for each of their properties. I have tracked those claimes from Sunset Station for almost a year now and find them to be purely fictitious. I am in the process of writting a book about Las Vegas casinos and in the process have stumbled into someting so unreal that I'm still onling scratching the surface of the coruption with regard to legal gambling. I realize a year ago I needed some hard cold proof when making claims against a giant Station Casino and so I campained some of the people I knew, mostly europeans into funding and assisting me in this seemingely impossible adventure. Without coming accross as yet another degenerate gambler just pissed off again for loosing a few bucks at the local casino let me assure you thats not who i am or what I repesent.

A year ago when we started this investigation I received just short of 50,000 dollars from friend family and others interested in the outcome. This money was given to me for this purpose and not a single person that committed cash was expecting anything in return regardless of win or loss. I picked 2 casinos to start. One being Sunset Station and the other was Sam's Town. I picked those two casinos simply because they both advertise their jackpot payouts on a daily basis. Initially I was going to play a daily equal amount of 300 dollars per day in each casino. The plan was to play the same way in both casinos. Combination of video keno and poker as well as some table games, but mostly I stuck with video keno. Playing quaters, 50 cent and dollar denominations. Always max bet regardless of denomination played. It took almost 3 weeks before hitting a jackpot in either casino. But it became immidiate clear to me that I played a lot longer and hit a lot more smaller amount paybacks at Sam's Town compared to Sunset Station. I was shocked at how many times I would play my 300 dollar daily limit at sunset station with out ever hitting even a single minimum amount in return. In other words I put in 300 dollars into a maching without a single dollor in rturn. I actually fed one machine 7900 dollars in one setting and the highest paid returm on that machine was one time 568 dollars in August. You may ask why I would be so stupid to do so, well let me remind you that I was not playing for pleasure or personal gain but as a investigator trying to expose unfair practices used by casinos, thats wy I sat there and almost handed 7900 dollars to the Stations. Back to the fisrt jackpot, yes you guessed it, it was at Sam's Town. Playing the 50 cent denomination, so 2 dollars per game I finally hit 8 out of 9 on keno that paid 9400 dollars. I added that money to the funds still left from my intial bank roll and kept playing 300 a day in each casino. Couple of days after the first jackpot I hit another good payday of 140000 this time again at Sams Town. In order to rap this up I continued to win a total of 97000 plus dollars in jackpots total. Not a single one from Sunset Station. You read that right, not a single jackpot from Sunset Station. Here comes the real crime I am claiming against the ruthlerss establishment. I spend 92000 of the winnings from the sams stown jackpots winnings to play at sunset station and still to date have not won a single jack pot at sunset station. In all I gambled close to 138000 dollars at sunset station in 2015 and did not hit a single jackpot. I can prove all these numbers backing them up with w2 irs forms as well as video recordings taken with my cell phone as well as bank records.

If youre thinking to yourself "yea right " how can a casino cheat like that, this dude must be full of bs. Casinos are regulated and controlled and cant get away with chearing right ? Exactly my thoughts just a year ago. Well let me ask you this ? Do you think there is a way to get a real figure from a casino what their daily cash turn and flow is ? Perhaps a non casino employee or indepandent person over sees the dailey cash exchange at a casino? Guess again. So your thinking ok but they can't get away with setting most of their video gaming machines to below payback required by the law, right ? Well one wouldnt think so but let me tell you that its simply happening at sunset station. The management has become so greety and disrespectful to you as a costumer and I hope to the gaming comission that they are actually just taking money in by the thousands and not paying out a single dollar in return. Between myself and spotters hired we covered a few 24 hour shifts and did not see a single video poke jackpot. Yet the very next day Sunset posted nearly 40000 dollar jackpot pay outs.

There is a big difference...

AUTHOR: Robert - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, April 12, 2016

There is a difference here.  You are neither law enforcement or conducting any sort of "official" investigation.

By the way, since I know you are thinking it.  No I do not now or have I ever worked for any Casino.  And the standard "go to" response by people on this site when someone says something they don't like is to accuse them of working for the company.  I personally think I have been accused of working for about 2 dozen companies...ALL WRONG.

You are basically billing yourself as just some "average joe" who was able to get a bunch of people to bankroll your gambling habbit on the pretense of discovering some huge crime, and now when you are called on it try to come up with dozens of excuses as to what you are doing is valid.

How come you didn't do a documentary film?   You came up with 50,000 for your "bank roll", I am sure it would have been a simple feat to get another few thousand dollars for a couple of micro cameras and some editing software to create an entire documentary film on this.  If you think something like that can't be done and doesn't have an impact let me give you one word "blackfish".

At the very least why not go to the local news media?  Or should I guess that they are in on this huge consipracy as well?

I guess in the end it is just a mystery as to what your "end game" is?  Do you plan to sue them for false advertising?  Try to start some "Class Action Lawsuit"?  Or are you just some guy doing their "good deed" for the day?

Oh and I don't expect you to answer that because your answer will be the canned response "I am not going to tip my hand..but you watch I will not let this go and I will bring down this entire casino".  Yea....YAWN...good luck.

Thats like saying the police should contact the IA for spending money

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, April 12, 2016

You telling me to contact gamblers ano. for spending money on a investigation is like telling the police to contact the IA depatment for spending money on finding, investigating and most important stopping crime.

However I am happy that you did respond to my report in the manner you did, proving to me that anyone dare even tries to expose a casino, this casino for practicing unfair trading has to be either a out of control gambler, a thief, a sore loser or any other label you want to put on me. Just because it does not seem posible for a company such as sunset station to ripoff customers doesn't mean that it is. People like you is what produces companies as Enron, and many of its simular fallowing cult. After all the people that initially called out for investigations into Enron were clearely just trouble makers, dirt baggs or what ever other labe you placed on them.

Let me make this very clear to you Sir before you think you can intimidate me with a phone number to the las vegas police department and adding words like victims and deception, you should know that I was aproached by them. The money they spend on this investigation is minor compared to the money they have spend at sunset station while visiting. Every cent received from the people who took part of this has been documented and accounted for. Because of this we can now expose sunset station with ligit facts.

Your last statement has me most concerend. If you believe me to be such a criminal or degenerat gambler as you put it in the beginning of your rebuttal, why would you then casualy ask in closing about what the gaming commission had to say about it. Could it be that you have a personal interest in this ? Or maybe you're just some concerned private citizian that is very concerned about the local casino and its wellbeing!

To answer your question, I have not contacted nor talked to anyone from that office. Intesting fact however on that perticular even when sunset station gobbled up over 9000 dollars one machine I asked a slot technician on what the procedures are if a customer feels that a machine is not operating correctly. Would you believe within minutes I was surrounded by some pretty well dressed casino employee's. The ones important enough to not have to wear a name tag. By no means, and I want you to understand this, under no means did they make any threat nor any refernce there of but on the other hand didn't offer me much assistance other then making it perfectly clear that their machine was legal and no person from the gamming commission was available to me.

The simple fact is that I believe that sunset station is doing something illegal. I believe that they are advertising jackpots that never happened. Not just a few but many many ones in order to get people in the door and then steal their money. I can back up everything I claim with documents and more.

One more thing, did you just take the time to question me or did you contact sunset station and ask them any questions ? I'm sure I know the answer to that..............

Gamblers Anonymous....

AUTHOR: Robert - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, April 12, 2016

If you are having a gambling problem where you are spending 10's of thousands of dollars in the name of "research" it is perhaps time to talk to someone...

http://www.gamblersanonymous.org/ga/

Las Vegas Hotline Numbers: 855-2CALLGA (855-222-5542)

I would also suggest that the Europeans you convinced to part with their money to contact the following officials

Las Vegas Police Department

Fraud Detail

Phone: 702-828-3285

By the way what did the Nevada Gaming Comission say when you reported your finding to them?
