We attended a wedding at The Addison. I had heard that the food was to die for. When the waiter brought over my steak it looks great. I moved the potato to see a dead cockroach. I was attending my nieces wedding and didn't want to cause a panic. When told the waiter, he asked me if I wanted another. Absoultly not I said. I would never eat there or attend an event there again.

We appreciate customer feedback as always and when John P made this claim on another site, the Addison along with the Better Business Bureau respectfully requested that he provide all parties with a date and time of the wedding he said he attended so we would be able to thoroughly investigate and address such a serious incident claim that had somehow gone unreported onsite.
It is our policy to have a detailed event report submitted by our operations manager (who has been with us for over 7 years) to our corporate office within hours of every single event we host and we have been unable to locate any reports that mention this complaint or anything similar to it.
It is also our policy to investigate all security camera footage (which covers every area of the entire property) and interview the entire staff when an incident is reported.
The Better Business Bureau reached out to John P regarding this claim, and the BBB filed an offical report closing the case after John P declined to provide any information including a date or name of event.
We now hold an official letter to confirm this, so we would ask the Ripoff Report investigate this claim and if unable to obtain proof that John P was actually a guest of an event here, please remove this report. Perhapse John P is mistaken as to what venue he attended.
The Addison kitchen operates on a “cooked to order” system, meaning the chef takes the food from the pan, grill or oven and places it directly on to a plate handed directly to a server which goes straight to the table.
The system makes it virtually impossible for an incident such of this to take place - especially in a kitchen that has never had a violation pertaining to insects, rodents or food contaimintion.
Better Business Bureau Case #90236929 addressing this exact claim was offically listed as "Closed due to lack of information" on 12/18/13. Feel free to search the case number for unmidigated proof of the unfound nature of this claim.
