Transport America Transport Corporation of America Sorry You Had a Shitty Experience, BUT Eagan Minnesota

 TA is only the third over the road company that I have worked for. First was JB Hunt, drivers couldn't do anything right there. Second was a small flatbed company, wanted me to work off a 1099, taxes would have killed me. Then Transport America, I ran 125,500 miles for them last year(2015), earned $56000, I run over the road. I am out for three weeks, home for 4 and a half days.. Company has gone through a bunch of turmoil from what I heard, drivers did get pay cuts. Recession affected everyone. Electronic logs prevent running 9-11 hours straight through, now there is a mandatory break after 8. Company increased speed from 62 to 64 in September of 2015. They may have gotten in trouble somewhere, as they preach safety now, they also preach home time. Many new programs like 7 days on, 7 days off. I can earn $1000 dollars for recommending new drivers, the new driver would need to give the recruiter my driver code FEDMI. While at JB Hunt drivers were offered 1000-3000 dollars to refer a new driver, but I have to sleep at night. I can recommend Transport America and sleep like a baby, it's a good company. Sorry that driver quit trucking, not all are like JB Hunt or U.S. Express, I have heard bad stuff from drivers about them too. To Rip Off Report, you should try using your forms without autofill, they're a real pain. Mike Feddersen
