TTI Nat'l, provider of personal 800 numbers decides to suddenly charge a monthly fee of $9.95 per line starting in April 2012. They already DO NOT give credit for misdialed calls nor wrong numbers etc. When I tried to call them to cancel, over an hour on hold and then no cooperation from the representative. he gave me all kinds of excuses when I asked for a supervisor. His name was Alex (the original one who answered after an hour). I told them i would not pay these new charges and thus wanted to cancel. He insisted on some account number that has changed multiple times over the term of my account. When I didn't have it as there letter showed a different number than my bills he refused to look it up by the 800 numbers I used, address, name etc, though in the past when I wanted to add service they always found me. I told him any charges submitted since this notice of cancellation will not be honored (no one has my personal 800 number any more and attempts to dump the service have proven unsuccessful but I regularly get bills for a few cents every month due misdialings. Since they were for a few cents I paid them, but no more. Their business license should be revoked.

I had an account with TTI National over 10 years ago, long since cancelled. A random call to an 800 number resulted in a statement with a charge for less than $1. I refused to pay this fraudulent charge and bills are mailed every month resulting in an increase every month by over $10. I contacted the BBB in Salt Lake City who contacted the company and they did not respond. If you are a consumer, do not pay a cent to tho fraudulent company who is running a scam and intimidating consumers. After 6 months or so they start to send out letter with the Verizon logo at the top. I don't think Verizon would be pleased with this abuse of their logo and their reputation.

TTI hikes minimum charges

same here, minimum charge is more than I ever spent in several months time with TTI or whatever they're really called. Not to mention it was the strangest billing - several pages of nearly blank paper asking for just a couple of dollars in charges. Some months they must have spent more in postage & paper than the bill was. I mean they'd bill ya for 57 cents.
