carlos and edith run 2 illegal "halfway houses" in delray bch. carlos claims to b clean 6 months but a few weeks ago i caught him smoking crack in his vacant house which is why i moved. i watched him throw a guy out whose rent was paid for the next week because the kid gave him notice and wanted to use his last weeks rent. carlos didn't refund his money. he flies off the handle kicks people out and keeps their money. when i moved out after catching him smoking crack he called my 86 year old mother and lied to her by saying i was drinking and using drugs! his wife edith (they aren't married but live 2gether) isn't any better. she is a minister but never ordained. they don't provide any recovery services, carlos is a crackhead and ex-con and edith has 3 kids by different men. she's also an ex crackhead and prostitute. don't move in there but if you do don't give them a deposit!

My 18 year old son spent time with Carlos and Edith in U-Turn Recovery. I will always be grateful for the true compassion and concern they demonstrated for my sons well being. Never asking for money and going the extra mile to make sure he was fed and safe made it easier for me to sleep without worry.....thank you Carlos & Edith!

First and Foremost we at U-Turn would like to state that our halfway house is a licensed, safe and extremely clean sober environment that adheres to the highest of standards for a facility that provides housing and a structural living regiment to addicts looking to better themselves and society. Comments such as those written by “Mike” who was terminated from our program are actually expected as it is known that very few addicts actually succeed back into society and leave our doors with a pat on the back. More often than not this is what happens when a client is asked to leave for breaking the rules, whether it is for coming up positive on a urinalysis, not being able to pay rent or not being able to follow any of the common rules at a halfway house. However this is the first time since our inception that we have had a former client places such slanderous defamations on a website such as ripoffreport.com, (who according to their legal department will only remove a bad review if you pay them a $2,000 fee for their “legal services”.) It seems that this website clearly is the only true scam here and if anybody wants to check our company out we invite you to do so. You can start with our website www.uturnrecovery.net

real? good for you!you represent what? one out of 100? too bad carlos won't stop smoking crack and get clean! if he did then he could lead by example! i allmost feel sorry 4 him and edith. her having a crackhead for a husband and him being a crackhead trying to 'LEAD" AN UNLICENSED HALFWAY HOUSE unable or unwilling to stsay clean himself. i'm sure both he and edith are full of shame. maybe he should become a client rather than an "owner". (he doesn't even own a vehicle, everything they have is owned by edith's family. at least she has a real job!

Me and my family had such a wonderfully experience at Uturn Recovery my family member that lived in Carlos and Edith halfway home recovered and have been clean every since!!
