The UPS Store in Hyde Park is completely incompetent. They do not sign for individual packages that arrive, these clowns sign one signature for ALL packages that come form each carrier each day. They lost two of my items in two months out of twenty.

10% failure rate is not acceptable. Plus, I have no recourse because there is a signature on file. DO NOT give them your business!!!!

Why would this UPS Store be signing for your packages? Do we have to assume you're a mail box customer? You feel you have no recourse as there IS a signature on file? Did you really mean to say that? Actually, you would have no recourse if there was NOT a signature on file.

Got a tiny question for you. Can you list a few companies that have one of multiple packages scanned, then signed, then scanned, then signed, then scanned, then signed, then scanned, then signed, then scanned, then signed, and so and and so on and so on, by UPS or FedEx? Doing so would take an outrageous amount of time and is completely unnecessary. By your description, every receiving business in the world must be "completely incompetent clowns". Curious, for obvious reasons you do not work in a shipping/receiving department or own a business, but has UPS or FedEx ever delivered more than one package to you house at the same time? No? Well lucky you, as you'd then have to point your finger in the mirror and exclaim, "You incompetent clown!!"

All locations classified by shipper's as a business will automatically sign a delivery manifest. All tracking #'s for an address are under a single manifest and only require a single signature. If a package status states it as delivered and required a signature, the signing party is responsible for all packages on that manifest. It would be impossible for a shipment to be signed for if that package were not present as, obviously, there would be no package to scan onto that manifest.

So, do you have a tracking number that shows a confirmed and signed for delivery? Has a tracer been placed to, amongst other details, verify the address the sender used for delivery? What was the signature name given at the time of delivery and was it an employee of that UPS Store?

And since that business, as does all businesses, only signs once as that is standard industry protocol, any guesses as to whom other's may be calling an "incompetent clown"? You may want to also tack "hypocritical" as a preface to that title. But for now, just give us more details and a little less immature drama.
