This report is being written as a warning to prospective buyers of coins that this company merely offers coins and is "a private gallery not affiliated with the United States government or any government entity." ~As quoted from their brochure with a copyright date of 2012.
The US Mint does not sell coins at face value to the public. However, they will sell collector's coins to the public, like proof sets.
A sure way to get a new presidential golden dollar for a dollar bill is to go to your bank and ask for one.
"The United States is honoring our Nation’s presidents by issuing $1 circulating coins featuring their images in the order that they served. The United States Mint issues four Presidential $1 Coins per year, with Presidents Monroe, Adams, Jackson, and Van Buren being honored in 2008. Each coin has a common reverse design featuring a striking rendition of the Statue of Liberty. These coins feature larger, more dramatic artwork, as well as edge-incused inscriptions of the year of minting or issuance, "E Pluribus Unum," "In God We Trust" and the mint mark. Although the size, weight and metal composition of the new Presidential $1 Coin are identical to that of the Sacagawea Golden Dollar, there are several unique features that make this coin distinctive. ..."

It's easy to see the rebuttal written in reply to my complaint review came from a representative of U.S. COMMEMORATIVE GALLERY. I've read firsthand accounts regarding this company and can only warn you. Do what you wish and buy where you will but, "Caveat emptor," . . . let the buyer beware.

The advertisement that a consumer receives in the mail from the Unites States Commemorative Gallery is an offer where the consumer can choose whether or not they want to purchase the product being offered.
The consumer can also go to a local bank to ask if these same coins are offered in rolls and uncirculated or they can choose to purchase from other companies that offer the same product.
The United States Commemorative Gallery offers these products at a price which includes either the boxes, portfolios, frames, rolls, insert cards and engraving plates with the convenience of shipping the product directly to the customer’s home as they are minted instead of the customer having to keep up with the United States Mint Schedule and then having to attempt to obtain them through varying sources.
