I received a phone call from a man with a heavy indian accent claiming that I had been awarded a grant because of my outstanding credit.  He proceeded to verify my name.  I stopped him at that, I told him I wanted to go online and see his company website, he gave me 3 website addresses before he gave me www.usgovernmentgrants.com.  He told me he was in the grant department of the us government.  I did not give him any further information because he could not give me a phone number,  a correct website and it took him over 3 minutes to give me the address in Washington.    The number he called me from was 530-559-1657 and when I tried calling it back it tells me the cell phone I have called has been disconnected or changed. 

Can the real Federal Government PLEASE do something about these people.  I know you have the means. 

I hung up and looked up stuff and found this site.

Don't give these guys ANY INFORMATION!!!  THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM.  AND THEY ARE IMPERSONATING THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT GRANTS DIVISION!!!

us grant department Kim moriss they called us saying that we we approved for a grant we did not have to pay back for 7000. an first we had to put money on a pre paid card to receive the money, they had strong india accent an they kept given us other number of people to call for approval. once wd sent they money we called they people back to receive our grant and then they said we have to send 495 more to tax pay to get they money then will get the grant. an ine we ask for the money back they said they cant cus the government has the money. we asked for there supervisor number and when we asked if it was a scam they hung up an now they dont answer please help Nationwide

US Grant Department Names I know: Frankie Cambell, Robert Sloan. They hacve a dc number but are operating out of India. Raymond Cambel said I was issued a Grant through the US grant. Had me send money , over $1000 by Western Union to different names. India, with a DC number 202 India
